Crazy stupid hereo builds

I have seen some new players build the funniest things on some hereos and i would like to hear some experiences of some crazy builds you have played with or tried out.
Of course i mean no serious builds but crazy stuff you can try in public that realy worked for some reason in the match. like dps behemoth with his +200% base dmg or these crazy glacius with a shieldbreaker and lifesteal.

that's actually very effective. 3 moon queens with bouncing attacks that each have mana combustion on each attack...Say goodbye to the enemy team being able to use any spells ever...

I once got ridiculously fed as a Chronos and got 3 battlefuries, Wingbow, Flayer and the Mask of Madness equiv (srry for dota speak) catch a buncha people in a bubble and watch the pretty crit cleaves... Killing 5 heroes before a bubble even has time to end is funny.

Not as funny as insta genocide with behemoth + blink + refresher + frostfield plate tho...

I once saw a nighthound with 5 battlefuries and a wingbow... It woulda been hilarious except for the fact that they had a tempest on their team... he got a couple of hat tricks before all was said and done...

DPS Accursed tears through pub games. I actually don't see how it's a bad build at all, considering support has a limit and with a Runed Axe you have pretty much set mana for levels 16+. I need to try a new build now that Charged Hammer is amazing on strength heroes.

Here is one I accidentally invented while mesing around with some friends.

Stealthaziah. Get a shroud then you backstab with shroud, procs your aoe damage, then you immediately heal yourself. And almost no one sees it coming. :D

Another time in an em game I played with a friend (3on3) we were opposing a predator who was pretty farmed up (breastplate, abyssal, heart, bound eye..). The freind had the old scout and we were dieing in a row nearly eccept for him who somehow always managed to escape. As we nearly genocided the 6th time he said, I'm angry, I'll buy some doom bringers. I lol'd but he somehow farmed up about 10000 gold and within 5 minutes he came back from the shop with two doombringers and started to rape the entire enemyteam with 700 dmg + crits and lifesteal :D in the end we wo this game.

Any character that gets Slash + Enhanced Marchers + Elder Parasite, combined with things like Doom Bringers/Runed Axe/Wingbow etc. Not only do you get awesome attack speed, damage, but any hero on low hp that runs away you can own them.

Further more, if a whole TEAM runs away and you're swiftblade, you can elder parasite + enhanced marchers, run in with over 325 attack speed, which at level 3 of your ulti allows you to auto-attack 10 times between swift slashes. With insane auto attack speed, chasing ability and damage, this on any hero can chase down almost ANYONE. Even a scout in invis, if you have bound eye. Unless that scout has Slash + Post Haste or something to get more movement speed later.

I saw this once as well. I'm pretty sure, though, that the team had another carry and the madman designated himself as initiator/support. Madman with lots of HP/MP and MP regen = great assister/continuous stunner. I'd personally never do it, but it seems viable if you exclude yourself from the carry role.

Use Soul Reaper and farm like crazy --> Mock Brilliance --> Post Haste

So basically farm every creep on the map while gaining your mana back. Then I went Frostfield plate and finally shield breaker. I was doing so much AoE damage to the other team it was ridiculous.

I would contest that. Not only does it make him a good mid-game support, with all that life and stalks its really hard to take him down = He can farm well for late game. And he only needs dmg as his ulti will be up most of the time. I've supported mid-game and carried my team late game with Bloodstone madman quite a few times.

It was used quite extensively in higher levels games before the nerf.

I once got really farmed with Ophelia early game. I had a sac stone and then just charmed all the mobs with auras (Mino, Snotter, Wolf), got a demonic bp, flayer, and hellflower and just carried the rest of the game.

Certainly not advisable, but was fun for the pub game.

that's not terrible. have you never seen a blink slith before? blink, crush, rape, then sprint to run away instead of sprint to initiate and take extra dmg while fighting. of course, later on you're so beefy the extra 20% dmg doesn't matter.

TB solo'd mid. I noticed he bought no items. I ignore for a while, and he begins to die every once in a while. I suggest he buy items, so he can play the game (I assume it's his first time). He yells at me saing he knows what he is doing. At the 30 min mark he goes to the ss, I check his inventory... Doombringer.
After he tried to solo there team with auto attacks, he died and our scout ran in and destoryed the item. We went 30 min of TB *****ing that we killed his item, until he bought another Doombringer.

There are some facepalm builds that appear really often, even decent players use them.

It's very common to think "hey, he's a tank, i should get tanking items". But the effect is actually that the enemies will completely ignore you, kill your initiator, your carry, your disabler, and when it's 5v1 they'll finally kill Acursed even with his imba survivability...

Soul Reaper rushing Staff of the Master as first item
4300 gold for extra ~100-200 damage on a single target ultimate. Instead of a sacrificial stone (or at least sustainer, bottle, smth) which basicly allows you to damage the enemy team for 275 every 5 seconds, while healing your allies for 130. Even Frosfield plate or Kuldra would be much better.

I find a lot of people get runed axe on magmus. Pretty fail imo, esspecially if you get it before portal key.

I've seen once a Puppet Master with both Elder Parasite AND Abyssal skull. The funny part is he actually ended up 12-0 and carried our team to victory, and he was still very sure the lifesteal stacks :eek:

Well, technically, he was right about it stacking..... just not on him.

Actually, barbed armor works quite good on Accursed. You go straight among them and activate barbed. If they attack you, they get hurt. If they ignore you, you can seer them. Not bad at all.

I just remembered a funny one I saw earlier - Pyromancer with 4 codex. Guess he didn't quite get the concept of upgrading it.
