i don't rember the name of the char that represents nevermore, but i played yesterday like i use to play it. Dagger bkb, bla bla bla....
well, the thing is that in DotA if you hit with nevermore's ulti when you are really near to your target, it gets powned and recives lot of damage...
but here i explode with the ulti nearly touching an enigma and didn't damage even take 1/4 of his health...

PS: i reported a bug when you die with aegis you lost half soul charges... that don't suppose to happen.

It hurts alot. Works for me anyways.

ulti lvl 3 + 30 souls + less than 100 units... it should hurt an enigma like half hp at least. But it didn't do even 1/4

stop talking like enigma is some static amount of hp. that enigma could have had 3 bracers and a hood and be 3 levels above you for all we know. when i played sf i 1shot multiple people with my ult.

i'm not saying that, it wansn't only enigma i combined my ulti with the kraken ulti and same happend with all heroes near...
you think i'm stupid ? if they have 3 bracers and hood i'll notice it, if i open a thread with this is not because i'm a noob puber...
may god nowdays all people think they are smarter than others...

Another fact of that ulti makes me wonder.
The Animation of the ulti seems to be shorter or to be more difficult to recognize.

I was playing a game with a team of friends I think we are all pretty decent at the game.
But there was a Soulstalker/Nevermore on the other team who farmed like crazy and he Genocided the whole team at 11 with his ulti.
idk what you are talking about...His ulti does work.

Have had multiple times where a player on either team has had a soulstealer and 1 shotted 3~ people at a time with his ult.

I have experienced this as well, as the soulstealer, picking up an invis rune, and with 30 souls walking up to a scout that was lvl 12 and i was 16 and dropping the ult and seeing less then ten percent of the damage be done. like what the hell.

Has to do something with the angle of the soul release I believe. Kind of like how Glacier's ultimate is utterly useless. Except Soulstealer's ult is way less random.

i think that this is concerned to the S2 engine, i think that in dota the nevermore don't depends on what does the animation shows, it depends on the AOE and the distance. Here it seems to depend if the violet Souls touch or not the target, like xahxah said, maybe depends on the angle... if that works like that it's ok, i would be better if someone expert on s2 engine give us some tips...

I've been using Soulstealer a lot, and haven't had any problems. Maybe you were not full on souls, or the target was more than 300 units away.

The thing is, in DotA the strategy of instagibbing with Shadow Fiend's ultimate involves positioning your hero directly on top of the other hero via Lothar's so that your collision circle overlaps theirs, so when the souls come out they are hit by ALL of them. I'm sure it's harder in HoN, and the souls might not target enemies in the same way as in DotA.
