Since no one with the right mind would max Tinker before 14, guess that concludes it. Tinker is replaced by mines. Personally, I think that's for the better because with all the changes Engie got Tinker became less unique/useful.

Tinker is great, just underused. Change the turret into landmines and make tinker work on them.

If you want some extra use, make tinker perplex enemy heroes for 4-5 seconds. BOOM! a strat against mass shruken on carries.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say they are invisible while inactive (since I doubt Nome would have walked over them blindly if they were visible, not to mention visible mines with an activation time is pretty much useless). They most likely become visible when they start chasing someone though :P

His turret was not 'great' if placed right. It was mediocre at the very best, most optimal placement. Any other nuke spell has more efficient output and more pure output without having to be 'placed right.'

I would hat to see engineers turret to be removed, pretty unique skill, and also, do you think he got a longer attack range?It's an awful spell that's barely useful simply as a slow. For displacement and for ultimate shenanigans, Keg fills the role entirely.

Turret used to be what made Engineer capable of carrying and made him a real headache before they unjustly remade it after they had already dealt with the OP factor (the fact that it proc'd items). Good riddance I'd say unless they were even considering bringing it back to it's semi former glory where you could tinker it, use it as a ward, ect.

The mines are an engineer rework it's pretty much confirmed by now for all you slowmos who aren't updated on the news.

And yes that is a female engineer skin.

You CAN'T decide if nomad is OP or not since you haven't seen the numbers of how much the mana cost is, how long the cd is, how much damage the skills does etc. Until you play him more than 5 times and not against retard enemies you will know if he's opd or not.

Horrible design on Nomad, S2 needs a new person on their staff to figure out the balancing on these heroes, too any issues otherwise.

Kudos on the engineer mine port though, Wish it were more similar to techies, but i can dig it

the most anoying things about nomad is his ultimate is a godlike aoe stun class with high magic damage and low cd. Even worse, he cast everytime he got atked by almost any atk/skill (not dots)

Mirage strike does a good damage only if your opponent are squishy. Mirage strike lose its effectiveness on mid game, and only serve as last hitting and escape tool on late game. True strike begin to shine at mid game, but making you vulnerable to roflnukedtodeath since your health are not that much.

Just had a game with one and against one. The lanes were quite good, but although he had imba farm he couldn't do anything in late-game. Imo this hero need sth. like a slow as normal ability apart from his heavy stun ultimate. There was no damage later on either. Both teams lost with useless Nomad in the end.
Maybe I'm mistaken and underestimate him only because of TWO games and he's not bad. Tell me what you're thinking.

The new engineer mines look nearly identical to maokai's bombling in LoL. Same mechanic even....walk too close to it and it chases you and then blows up. Kind of interesting to see HoN borrowing from LoL in this instance.
