Heyo!
So I'm not the best writer/explaining stuff but i will do my best.
So what i would like to have in this fantastic game is a feature to join Tournaments super easy with your clan/friends in a team of 5+1-2 substitutes.
The best way to show this is to show BLC(Bloodline Champions)
That is where i got this idea
(So here we have the Rewards. You gain specific, sometimes exclusive rewards, when winning a tournament)

(So this is how it basically looks like. You can see tournaments beeing played. How it is going for each and everyone. How much did they win with? They are gonna add feature where you can spectate games afterwards. Easy implented in HoN)http://i.imgur.com/D3ShF.jpg
(Here you can see 'League requierments'. Which is a very valid option i think HoN should follow. Some tournaments have specific 'Requierments' to join. So you can't be totally new and join. Or super uber pro and join low/beginners tournaments)

So It has it's own tab and really easy to follow what tournaments coming up and for how long and how your team qualify. Seems super easy and super fun!
Sure a game HoN takes longer then BLC game, but so what? If people leave or whatever, too bad for them. The other team advance and closer to glory.
At the moment they have free tournaments. But maybe you can pay with goblin coins so people don't just join and leave? More serious

Qualifications & ladders
- 5-10 ladders going on at all times. (adds diversity, so that fNatic MSI isnt winning them all)
- Ladders are MMR/TSR based. Worse clans (avg. TSR) go to lesser ladders
- You can be only at one ladder at the same time. (diversity to ladders)
- You can be in 2-3 qualifications at the same time. (diversity to qualifying clans)
- If you are qualified to a ladder, you will drop from other qualifications and a random similar-leveled team will be able to join your spot to that qualification with your qualification points. (adds diversity)
European ladder:
- First 96 to 384 clans will be approved for qualifications, which will open at GMT+0 17:00
- Game time GMT+0 18:00-22:00
- Qualifiers will be played in 2-4 days (depending on the qualifying team amount)
- Qualifyings teams will have to settle their own matchdates to fit in the first or the second day of the qualifiers. They will have to fit in 2 to 5 matches in the given Game Time (read above)
- Each team will be playing 2 to 5 matches and best 32 to 64 teams will be qualified.
- After qualification the teams have 12hrs to set the first tournament match with their signed opposing team.
- "Home" Team (Legion) can first suggest a matchtime, if the other team doesnt accept they can re-suggest. If neither of those times will fit, the time will be "randomized" inside the 2-4 days of Game Time of qualifiers. so either it starts between 18-20 on the first day or the second day or so on.
- If the other team doesnt show up, they have 10 minutes of "mercy time" to join the game. After this the opposing team get full points for the game.
Pros:
You get to team up with your buddys and train together to make it higher in every tournament.

Find new buddys to play with more often
Cons:
Time consuming
Requires more time against abuses?
Rules? (Backdooring etc) Maybe there are none in big tournaments i dunno
Can HoN handle it technically?
