A few months ago, [S2]Nigma and Cawk released a web-flash app called Prodex (link (http://www.nigmanoname.com/prodex.html)), which has informational guides for all the heroes in the game, including the heroes roles, summary, etc.

The point of this application would be to bring these awesome guides to the iPad. I think the Prodex project is really cool, and helpful to both new players and veterans, espcially for quick reference on a hero you have yet to play / haven't played for a while.

While initially, I will only have the guides, I plan on adding information on heroes and items, along with other cool features. Anything that people want, just reply here, and hopefully I will be able to find time to eventually turn this into a sort of HoN-database on iOS.

A few limitations of the application are: I do not have the guide, and therefore cannot do custom builds. This is simply a 1:1 port of the data posted on Prodex. Also, because I want to do as little typing as possible, only 1 pro tip (the first), along with the web for roles will be available initially. This might change later, but for now that is all I have time to do.

Current state: V 1.1 Released!
- Initial release available on the iTunes store here: Prodex Alpha (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/prodex-alpha/id432735318?mt=8&ls=1)
- Silhouette and landscape support are in
- Next steps are support for more information, such as changelogs, usage stats, hero information, and item information
- I am also in the process of converting the application to be universal, in other words supported by the iPhone/iPod Touch platform in addition to iPad

Feature Ideas:
Hero Information - Including skills and statistics. Could also eventually work in a hero builder and usage statistics.
Item Information - Including bonuses and buildup. Like heroes, could also add in usage statistics.
Changelog - List of changelogs for the game.
Player Stats - Player statistics, including yourself and maybe even others. Could perhaps have the ladder in there as well.
Replays - Probably not possible, but could maybe at least have match stats and such.

Thanks for any help / ideas in advance!

If you don't want to type all the infos by yourself, try using a flash decompiler to get the data (e.g. sothing swf decompiler) and just copy&paste into your application.

Where did you get the data for your app? Did you just copy it by hand out of the prodex? or is there a file somewhere with all the data?

Why don't you just directly contact Nigma and work with him? I'm sure he'd be up for it.

Nice App !

Please make the content more readable. Maybe use a UIScrollView for the content so that i can see which skills to Level in landscape mode.

I just submitted a new version with Flux for review, so that should be up in a little under a week. I am working hard on getting all of the information into the application so that I can dynamically create the pages. This will reduce the file size massively (about 70-80%) and also pave the way to a Universal version of the application. With it available on both iPhone and iPad, hopefully much more people will get to access to this great resource!

In other news, I have a player stats section in the works that I will hopefully be able to add soon in addition to all of this.
