I'm pretty much posting about his item build since the patch

Now i'm in no way a knowledgeable player, I'm still very much learning what goes on in this game but this is something I would like discussion about.

I've found Predator to be a more effective hero with the Enhanced Marchers/Steamboots swap. Having a second chasing ability to use between leaps improves his abilities as a ganker even if it does make him slightly less durable, in theory you should be able to avoid taking large amounts of damage with Stone Hide/Carnivorous anyway.

The change to Elder Parasite has also got me thinking; Instead of buying Insantarius as a core item, I go straight for a Shieldbreaker after the Enh Marchers to up my damage and from there an Elder Parasite for the 12 second attack speed and movement buff and increased life steal.

To my eye this seems like a more viable early/midgame build for predator than the current builds in guides, you get more damage sooner and a really cheap/easy buff to your lifesteal and attack speed soon after.

Anyone with thoughts/input?

If you hit Enhanced Marchers exactly when Cooldown is off every single time, your average move speed over 12s is 378. More than likely you will be a little slower than that at times, so your average move speed will actually be not much more compared to Steamboots which sits at 375.

Any maths people can feel free to correct me on this :P

Average movespeed is irrelevant largely. No amount of movespeed will help if you get blocked by creeps. 375 or 300 or 200 movespeed doesn't matter while they are snared by leap (because you're in melee range anyway). Phase Boots are useful when you need to close the gap, and they do just that.

Besides, Carnivorous scales only with attack speed, so Enh Marchers are the better offensive option

I go:

2 Bracers
Enhanced Marchers
Insanitarius
Shieldbreaker
Warpcleft

If it goes any longer you get either Daemonic Breastplate or Charged Hammer from your Warpcleft.

Didn't try out new Elder Parasite though but I think it can be viable after your Insanitarius, have to try it out soon.

I always went Enhanced Marchers anyhow, for a chaser like Pred, Unitwalking is cool, plus the atk speed bonus from old steamboots wasnt really favoured because i had Terror/Old Ulti (lawl at that but ye).

Im in love with his new animation, sends his last hittin thru the roof.

That's the build I've been using until now, I'm kind've saying that Shieldbreaker first gives you almost as much damage as Insantarius offers but without draining your HP. The Elder Parasite after that, which is incredibly cheap for a 12 second 100 attack speed and 20 movespeed boost which also gives you a 17% Lifesteal at the cost of a 30% inflicted damage increase, which you can mostly nullify with Stone Hide and all your lifesteal. From there I'd normally go for a Flayer or a Behemoths Heart if I need to be more tanky.

To me this allows you to pump out more damage far sooner and you get more of it back in your own healthbar. In the games I've played where I went for Insantarius after getting boots I never seemed to be putting out enough damage when it counted, just because it took me to long to make an Insantarius. This might have been because I sucked, which isn't at all unlikely. I've found it much easier if you gradually boost your damage making the Shieldbreaker, after that you can quickly farm an Elder Parasite; the huge attack speed boost + the increase to your chasing capabilities makes you a force to be reckoned with, you do slightly less damage (Than with an Insantarius alone) a lot faster. Then you up your damage more making the Flayer (if you get the kills this is pretty quick too).
