HoN hangs at S2 logo indefinitely

I'm not sure how to categorize this, so sorry if this is misplaced.
2.0.16 worked fine. Then I updated it to 2.0.19 and now HoN hangs at the S2 logo and won't allow me to alt-tab or open up task manager on that screen at least. My second monitor functions normally, but the monitor running HoN essentially is useless.

Interesting to note: if I manage to alt-tab quickly before hon.exe fully launches, everything seems to be fine, except I can't alt-tab back into the HoN nor can I kill it through task manager.

Can you reinstall from the newest client and tell me if the problem persists?

I reinstalled using a fresh installer from the downloads page and the problem does indeed persist.

I backed up a few console.logs after the crashes and I can't seem to find the latest one for some dumb reason, but here's the first time that it happened.
