surviving with the new scout

How is the new scout supposed so survive the 6 seconds cd of vanish since we can't restealth directly after attacking now?

Your target will be dead, because you attack him very fast. Thus you can easily survive because there is no enemy hero around.

(joke response, but seriously grab a DD rune and have fun on him)

Do not attack a group of enemies if they have disables. Now scout has to follow that rule like all other heroes!

Oh, and try to silence and burst down your target. Then they will probaly run instead of knocking on your HP.

Now you are ridiculous. Disarming the carry, 3 second AOE silence, and a slow with massive damage. He is a VERY good team player.

Well you obviously can't do the double vanish tactic. But any decent player will have a way to reveal a scout once he knows where he is anyway, so double vanish is garbage in higher level games. But he can do plenty of other things, just like other heroes that don't have double vanish can also survive and do other things.

Now he is much more of a carry in the sense that he actually can straight up attack people down. Before it was attack/ult->vanish->repeat until they ran away,dusted, or eventually died which means you get almost no bonus from attack damage and your built in crit/evasion. Now you can attack->get bonus attack speed->silence+disarm->conitnue attacking->run/chase/ult. They replaced his ultimately useless to the team double vanish nonsense with a disarm, an aoe silence, and a scaling ultimate. You should be able to do much better with scout than before. You just can't play him the same way, because his skills aren't the same.

I miss trying to disable scout in the small window you get between his attack animation and his vanish; I always felt so good when I managed to stun a scout *just* before he vanishes.

And that's the point - he is now more of a team hero, so play him like that and forget about that solo vanish + hit + vanish + repeat bs and play him with your team, you selfish arse :mad:
