Startup.cfg doesn't exist

I've very recently installed linux, and Hon on top of it. I had backed up my startup.cfg, because my key bindings were completely modified, and I cannot find the config file in Ubuntu, where it should be, right next to the replays-folder.

Where can I find the file please?

It should be in ~/.Heroes\ of\ Newerth/game

Isn't that where the replays are stored when you download one in-game?

I'm pretty sure there is one. I checked the console in-game and saw the line where it executed startup.cfg file, and I didn't see any errors following it. It also does remember the changes I make to key bindings.

So when I change the key binding, and monitor the console in-game, it says that it's writing to the file at
/home/sahip/.Heroes Of Newerth/game/startup.cfg (sahip, being linux user name)

EXCEPT I do not have a folder named "Heroes Of Newerth" located there, I have one named "HoN".

STUPIDITY DETECTED, apparently there was a preceeding "dot" there... the folder was hidden... ( note to self, remember to wear eyeglasses at all times)
