How to kill predator 1v1?

If you mean that you will play against someone who will most certainly pick Predator one on one then it's not too hard. Like someone else said, Arachna (and Viper in Dota are solid 1v1 choices... Great early game harass and scales well until late game.

At level 5 you can kill the dude already but if you're really good, you can chip away at level 3.

Predator's main strength though is 1 vs. 1... so you need to counter with another solid 1 vs. 1 hero. And always remember that homecoming stone is your friend... Once he leaps at you and goes stone hide and ulti and all just TP immediately if you can't take him 1 vs. 1. Let your team mates help you...

Oh wait, are you going to play just 1 vs. 1?

You can own him easily if you're playing an agility carry. You will have low hitpoints, which means his built-in lifesteal will not drain too much life, and you will also have high armor which will mitigate his physical damage. With lifesteal items of your own, and high damage, you can kill him easily.

Swiftblade ? I would not bank on that ! Any of your abilities will be countered by stone hide, you'll get raped if you try any of those.. I agree with your argument with the low health pool, but IMO predator will stack more life stealing based on damage, the only way you can beat a predator late game is to beat him before the game gets there ;)

Fights against Predator don't really start until you're at half health. If you happen to have a Nullfire, purge Terror off when he puts it on you. From there, it's a fight on who has more items.

If they know what they're doing, that will not work. Using pod = They will leap at you and stone hide. Stun does absolutely nothing. They will kill you by level 6

I'd go with Chronos. I'm pretty sure bash goes through magic immunity, and his 25% evasion isn't reversible with true strike.

Just use electriciant, purge off his ult with your own, grip him and drain him mana. Also your manashield works wonders vs this guy. I tried to kill an elec with him when he has his manashield up and it took like 25 hits to kill him. This was at level 16.

Not to mention, the -armor eats away people really nicely. Avoid fighting him face to face untill level 6, or pressure him with your AoE. Works great for me.

You cannot counter Swift's ult with stone hide. Sure, it reduces its damage, but then again it lasts only what... 5 seconds?

Keep in mind also that Swift has built-in crit and retaliation, which will rape Predator in a prolonged fight.

I did a 1v1 against a Predator (about the same skill level as me), and I picked Madman. At about 30 minutes into the game, he was level 25 and I was level 18. He had Post Haste, Insanitarius, Elder Parasite and Demoic Breastplate. I had Steamboots, Symbol of Rage and a Brutalizer.

Guess who won?

Me, of course. He'd leap at me, I go invis while he wastes his Stone Hide, then I pop my ult and stun him and watch while he is constantly stunned for the next 10 seconds while I eat up his health. I think I might have gotten hit once or twice by him, but I regenerated all of that in 2 hits.

Madman > Predator.

I'd say the reason why I didn't outfarm him was that I got steamboots and he got post haste, allowing him to port all over the map, clear creep waves and kill most of my towers. I only started winning at the end when I got my Brutalizer, took him down to 25% HP, he went to the fountain, I had about 40% HP, he comes back with full and I kill him and take the rax.

i tried picking madman vs pred but it didnt work at all i just failed early game
and everybody knows a farmed madman is kind of unstopable so its not really the best pick vs him in my opinion

Dont take any HP items, try to stack some armor instead, and then its not a matter of hero choice anymore.

You really have no idea - leap + iron skin = no kiting and arachna's ass raped. Really quickly. Predator is actually one of arachna best counters.

Jereziah is fine versus predator, same for maliken or even pesti. BUt in 5vs5 you are gong just to gank him as much as possible.
