Empath "As One"

Hey. I'm sorry if i ask asked questions, but:

I want to know what items work on Empath while she is using "As One" and which don't.

-Usable Items like Cyclone / Codex / puzzlebox do work just like normal, yes?

-Aura items (Nomes / Abyssal Skull)

-Frostfield Plate? => activation? passive?

-Daemonic? (enemy aura, maybe anything different?)

-Bound Eye?

-Health / Mana pot. ? (can she use them on self / on her host?)

All of those will work, although I'm not sure about pots. Empath is invulnerable while in As One though so most aura's won't affect her, but they will affect her allies.

I think mana/hp pots cant pe used on herself because you cant target invulnerable units with them. Should work normally on host.

I've heard from several ppl ingame it wouldnt work.

i know you can activate dust while riding someone, but i don't know about eye. i wouldn't get one on her anyway, she's too damn good at dropping on death late game.

afaik the only usable items that don't work are items that only work on yourself, like shrunken head and void talisman

That probably has something to do with you being invulnerable, but I don't know the exact mechanics.

Doesn't work on your host, so entirely useless.

When Empath was released, I was able to use Blood Chalice on her (not sure about current version). I've also had success with Barrier Idol and Codex.

Homecoming stone doesn't work either. If you use it your ult immediately ends, and then you channel for 3 seconds as normal.

If this is true then it is inconsistent with other cases, like SB when ulting can still gain power supply charges from the surrounding (now although he is invulnerable).

Element is ^ a bug?

The Blood Chalice, as of like 2 days ago, worked on her when I used As One and it. Soooo, Blood Chalice works, if nothing else does.

Also, bottled up runes works fine, as well as runecharges.

I'd say a bottled up Regeneration rune is insaneley convenient while humping your carry since it can't be interrupted.

Try it again in Practice Mode.

You will gain charges.

If you are convinced that you are correct, then post a Match ID/timestamp as proof.

I wonder why Empath still loses health to Blood Chalice when invulnerable inside an ally...

Is it because Blood Chalice does no real damage but on use merely removes HP points from its bearer?
