I'm a skinny kid and I appreciate breaky's casts just because I'm too lazy to move the mouse on replays myself.
It's also entertaining to have someone commentate the game for you, even if he knows less about the game than you. I can understand the thought process behind most "pro strats" even if I don't have a pro commentator. It's nice to have some competitive insight, but it's not mandatory to enjoy a good game of HoN.

Breaky feels like a good-nartured bumbling american guy - you like his failings more than you like his virtues, and you appriciate seeing him try. He makes the game entertaining, a very stale game tbh, and his douchebaggery (alleged) is perfectly understandable - he gets very little appreciation and his job practicaly means having to cater to an unpleasable and quite spoiled audience possibly 10 years younger than him (maybe more?).

Breaky has flaws, but as a caster he is great. Watching games without good commentary is not nearly as fun or instructive. Honcast, together with playing more because of it, has brought me from an average player to a good player.

Ich kann auch nichts dafür, dass das dritte Reich so ein schwaches Lategame hatte.
Ach unser Lategame war super, wir wurden nur von den scheiß Briten geninjacaped (Afrika) hatten keine Ressourcen mehr, von den Amis in Frankreich haben wir nen Basedropp bekommen und von den Russen einfach zugespammed .... da kann man einfach nix machen wenn man getrippled wird :D
Edit: Ich frage mich nur wo die Amis das ganze Zeal herbekommen haben um 2 Ultimates auf Japan zu machen. Wenn du mich fragst haben die gecheatet, denn die haben bis zum Mid Game geidled ... und dann gleich mal 2 Ultimates? Klaaaaaar

Ach die Amis haben doch dauernd gefloatet... Die haben einfach ne masse an t1 soldaten und t2 panzer gegen unsere t3 Units gesetzt, dann sindse heimlich t4 gegangen als se gesehen haben das Russland den gleichen scheiss mit seinen t1 soldaten macht.
Wir kamen einfach zu spät t3... wir hätten viel früher und viel mehr Königstiger raushauen müssen. Aber unsere Moral war doch schon seit Belgien im arsch, wenn nicht schon seit Frankreich.
Tjoa da sieht mans wieder... erst rushste bis zunem bestimmten Punkt, dann wirste zurückgeschlagen... und schon isne klasse Taktik im Arsch. Wir sollten einfach keinen Menschen vertrauen die unter 1,80 sind....

erm naja die amis haben halt die mega mapcontroll und deshalb immer den absoluten eco vorteil ... da is dann der techvorteil nicht mehr weit und die amis sind als einziges T4 gekommen ...

Back in the beta I loved watching breaky's casts, he was enthusiastic and.. "fresh". But lately he's become pretty dull and repetetive (spelling?), also he's been acting somewhat like a dbag (from what I've read on the forums). Overall I appreciate the fact that without breaky HoNcast wouldn't be anything (or maybe better, who knows who would've taken his place).

So yeah, I don't watch his casts anymore but I liked him in the beta.

Edit: also the fact that I've improved in HoN (as in learned more about the game) and he hasn't makes his casts uninformative. Some of the things he suggests or say are just.. mind blowing.
