the cup starts march 7th. you need to register a min of 5 players against your team before you can apply for the cup.

we would recommend to sign up as soon as possible as the slots are filling up quickly.

yes, you require a min of 5 players before your team can apply to join the cup.

once your unique id (e.g. hon account name) is entered then there is a short waiting period for the player to become green-ticked. only green-ticked players may play in cup games unless otherwise agreed before hand with the admin or opponents.

please ensure that all your members have their unique id filled out with their hon account name they'll be using to participate in the cup. there is a waiting period to become green ticked, so please do this in preparation for this cup.

Are these tournament match times set in stone?

Rounds 1 is set as in no-change allowed - thereafter teams may change the date/time of rounds 2 onwards. If both teams agree on a new date/time, then it'll be accepted otherwise the default time will stand.

With the semi/finals, if the date needs to be changed - then the cup Admins must be notified first and they will decide if its acceptable to change the date. This is in place as we normally have our semi's & finals live cast (and the viewers may be lost ).

How does the seedings work?


Only previous UNGL cup results will be used to seed our HoN cups.
A team must have a minimum of 5 cup games under the belt to qualify for seedings.
The teams will be seeded based on the % win ratio in UNGL cup games.
Teams that participated at UNGL but havne't played 5 cup games, will be seeded higher than new teams that haven't played at UNGL before. (loyalty)
The rest of the brackets will be filled with a random generator.
