As topic says I'm planning to form a serious clan that will aim for the top.
First of all I'm looking for Scandinavian players as I'm Swedish myself, but I'm totally open to change my mind about that if I can find none-scandinavian players who will fit in.

This team WILL aim for the top as soon as the clan ladder gets released (perhaps even before that). Therefore I'm looking only for players that have this ambition. Players with huge gaming experince who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the team.

To be more accurate the kind of players I'm looking for to this clan are 2 kinds of players:

1. Players with huge experince of playing high skill clan wars in dota.
OR
2. Players with extreme experince of competetive games who seem to have high potential of becoming HoN pros.


I don't believe in practising 24/7, but I still want players with some activity. Let's say an average of atleast 4 games per day should be the minimum.

I want players to focus on a couple of specific heroes in order to get extraordinary good at playing that role.

I'm not sure exactly who of my friends that I will include in this team that I'm building but one thing is for sure... I don't know a lot of good support players that are going play HoN so support players are definatly something that I'm looking for right now.

It's 5.30 AM now while I'm writing this post and I don't really feel like words can express how good this clan will be if I find all the motivated people that I want.

So let's end this by just saying, if you feel like this is exactly what you are looking for, don't hesitate to contact me and we'll try to play some games together and see how things work.

The rest of the post will just be about me and my gaming experince, it will however not tell you anything about any of the players that I have in mind.

About me:

Now you might ask yourself the question "Who the f*ck Am I?".
So I'm going to tell you about myself...
I basically grew up with gaming playing RTS games and FPS games like warcraft and quake at home LAN from the age of 4-5.
When I became 8 or 9 yo I got my first internet connection and started to play Starcraft and later on Diablo 2 online. I managed to win a couple of diablo 2 PvP tournaments already at this age and continued to compete in almost all kinds of game genres.
As a poker player, games aren't just one of my hobbies, it's my occupation.


In dota you may have / may not have heard of me.
This I do not blame you for as my clans have had problems with activity, team spirit and truth is I didn't really ever have time nor the will to get to get to the top at this time.

However I did manage to build up a team that qualified to farm4fame, I won the Swedish dota league with 2 different teams and played for various half-well known teams.
I also played in a couple of inhouse leagues and became voucher / admin in some of them.
In HoN I want to go all the way, instead of half the way =).

My previous gaming experince (apart from dota):

Diablo 2: Won a couple of 1on1 pvp tournaments at gaming sites, not much to be said here though really...

Warcraft 3: Played in a sponsored team known as gamepoint and won a couple of tournaments in early Wc3 years.

Dark Age of Camelot: Best RvR guild on realm/server

Guildwars: Sponsored by Razer in Esoteric Warriors (top EU guild)

Halo 1 PC: 2nd best European clan at the time

World of Warcraft: Started of with Curse Gaming and quit to come back later and play in a PvP guild with some people from GRAMMERPOLICE that actually never lost a game. Sadly I was never active when the arena came.

Esoteric Warriors ... Hmm .. in what times as a top EU guild .. When silent and dephria were in or later after remakes ? Cause i was a GW player since its release and bene playing mostly GvG's .. as member of first made clans like: Sissy Boys with the original setup, Sup first Sup clan made, Ghostly heroes. Hi Tech Rednecks, Spectral Agony . and few more top EU clans and US clans .. cant remember them all .. Anyway, Could you pm me the Vent info or add me in game w/e ..I have a friend id join with maybe .. Power of my rangers. if you remember him from GW . we play together ..

Think I might remeber him yes, I also remeber several of the clans you listed =).
Regarding EW, yes I'm refering to the times when Dephria played with us.
I guess it is actually hard to say who was the top guild in EU between us and iB but at the time that I'm refering to while I played, there was definatly no clan in EU that was close to EW or iB.
Edit: Silence was not in it. The active players were: Shadori, Acid, me, Nick, Cwoo, Loreal, Elendar, Dorm, Obscura and yeah might have forgot someone ;o


Regarding the "no life requirement", yes this is what it looks like when I make a thread like this indeed.
Don't get me wrong there though, there are a LOT of things that I've planned to do myself during this time. However, playing 4-5 clan wars an as average per day should hopefully still be a possibility.


Regarding channelns, ventrilo et.c... I decided as early as yesterday night that I will go through with this, therefore we haven't set up which will be our main vent et.c yet but we have some servers that we use.

I'm aiming for a roaster of about 7 players btw... Why 7? Because one of our top aims will be the upcoming team ladder, this will require activity. If we would only be 5, people would feel forced to no-life for the good of the clan which I do NOT want.
I want players in the team to feel dedicated to the team but if it the time consument starts to destroy important things in their lives, this will affect them as players aswell.

So yeah... I just think that 7 is a perfect number, not too many and not too few.

Was your nick "Chamie" in EW? because I don't remember you. I do remember Shadori, Acid, Nick, Cwoo and Elendar. iB/EW were top guilds VERY EARLY in Guild Wars conception iirc.
Ghostly Heroes / Spectral Agony were 20-50 guilds iirc.

If you remove Elendar and put in Dephria then the 5 players that you listed were our most active players, so it's not so strange that you heard of those =).
I was playing either monk or E/Mo most of the time in GvG (and curse necro from time to time).

Hmm, might be interested, but don't really have "pro gaming" experience, other than caring a lot about winning and not sucking completely.

But I'm in europe and if you are in the states it's really no good because of the latency we would experience.

otherwise currently 1804 psr rating (self obtained, so only played solo), lvl 11, some 1.5kd ratio and some 2ad ratio, but those suffer from bad stats in my start of hon.

Experience is mostly with agi carry and str tanks.

Mostly Harmless was the guild I was in, Ferry Captain was the character I _always_ played. I don't think anyone of us had the character name MH.

I'm British, so if thats a problem and you want a skandinavian team I understand but I'm worth it. Played alot of DotA but my best games were the CoD series, played for Team UK in CoD1/2 and very competitive in CoD4 (top20 EU). I'm used to playing at high level and like finding people with similar interests.

Hi again, some updates here...

Once again, for applications write a private message to me where you tell everything that I might need to know, most imporantly your dota experince.

First of all I'm only looking for people who have experince from dota, UNLESS the player happends to have insanely high experince of competitive games at top level.
This is because training a player from no dota experince to becoming proper high skill in HoN will take time, and therefore I want potential to be 100% guaranteed if I take that risk.

So incase you don't happend to have high clan war experince from dota and good English enough to be able to communicate without problems through voice programs, you probaly shouldn't even bother applying for this.

I've played all blizz games, all AoE games, and many other MMORPGs and such. climbed up to the top and trained future tops from my area. Never been a fan of teams though, I tend not to trust people to get things done.

Playing with someone you don't know is sometime annoying, most of the times i ended up being overpowered by fed players provided by teammates.

Btw, I think saying ''miss'' is bullshit :) Everybody has the same minimap, and if you don't know how to use it then please do not contract me.
