Crash while updating

Havnt been able to update since 2.0 but deceided to give u guys some more crash/console logs.Heres for the latest

couldnt even update to 2.0.14.1 after installing the 2.0.14.0....
tried this link for the new installer but didnt work so did i write it wrong?

just wanted to update that none of the patches so far have worked for me, keep having to reinstall the game every patch.

I have tried putting it in C: directly but it didnt help, dont know how to run it as Administrator but since i only have 1 login on my computer i guess its automatic?

If you right click on it, is there not an option to run it as administrator?

there is, but there also was a boxed checked in that said "Protect against virus and...." so i unclicked that, will have to wait for next patch to see if that was the problem

did you guys do any changes as to how patches work after 2.0? because before that it worked fine for me.

Ive done everything in the sticky and nothing works which includes :
Putting it in C: directly and running as administrator
Set Allowed on all settings for my firewall for hon.exe
Completly disabling my firewall
Opend all ports on my router.

Is there anything else i can do? is there any word if it will EVER be fixed? the "laidback" attitude of " oh hey just reinstall" is pissing me and alot of others off. Some kind of status report on how far you've come(if you even started) to resolving this issue?

can confirm that clicking compatibility mode for windows 98 (for me it said windows 95) worked and i was able to patch from 2.0.26 to 2.0.26.1

I will mark this as solved. Could you please also try updating Windows and trying to update without compatibility mode next time and post the result here?

yep, some people told me updating Windows fixed their updating issues with HoN.
