I read one of the treads and it instructed me to post this link for the game master. I am having very frequent lag spikes. Please help me identify and solve the problem.

Also, I use Rogers Hi-speed Internet, and I also use a router. As for firewall, I have it turned off because HoN will not show the game list if I have the firewall activated.

Thank you in advance

Tony

Network buffer measurements (?): Uplink 1000 ms, Downlink 280 ms
We estimate your uplink as having 1000 msec of buffering. This is quite high, and you may experience substantial disruption to your network performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large uploads. With such a buffer, real-time applications such as games or audio chat can work quite poorly when conducting large uploads at the same time.
We estimate your downlink as having 280 msec of buffering. This level may serve well for maximizing speed while minimizing the impact of large transfers on other traffic.

You are getting a large amount of upstream lag. Could you please do http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/wiki/index.php/Network_Quality_Diagnostics?

Um, I am trying the link you gave me with the cmd.exe but I think I am doing it wrong because nothing is working. Can you guide me through it with better instructions?

The traceroute is fine, but you're getting some bursts of lag (maximum=217ms). Do a ping -n 200 -l 1300 to each of the IPs in the traceroute. 200 pings should still see the lag, but won't take as long as 500. You can stop once you start seeing lag spikes. This will show where along the way the lag is occurring.
