View Full Version : [Other] Strange Issue with USB Hub.

This is probably one of the weirdest things I've ever had happen.

For some reason, while playing my first game of HoN for the night, usually within the first 10-15 minutes of a game, my USB Hub starts to disconnect and reconnect during play (as if I was yanking the cable out).

It only happens in HoN, no other game, and it only happens when I start to play my first game.

I'm completely dumbfounded by this, and if it happened anywhere else, I'd think it was a PC issue.

I've reseated all cables, they're in there pretty tight. The USB Hub's power is also pretty secure on both ends. Again, this ONLY happens during HoN.

I know this sounds completely crazy, and I have NO idea why this would happen during HoN only, but I'm looking for any ideas on what I can do about this.

Thanks.

Odd. HoN doesn't interface with the usb drivers directly at all, so I'm not sure what could even cause it.

One thing that comes to mind is that HoN uses fmod for the sound system. Try to find another game using fmod and see if that has the same effect.

Can you recommend another game?

I do use a USB Headset plugged into that USB Hub.

This is something recent, I can't really pinpoint a match. It did happen during my match last night.
