Crash after every update

The game crashes when it restarts itself after the update download finishes.
It pops up a K2 Exception error. It happened every single time I update the game which is extremely annoying. I have never had any in-game crash issue. But at least, could you provide us any alternative way to update the game? Like manual update? I don't want to spend 3-4 hours to re-download the whole 500MB client every time you update the game just because of the NEW 50KB patch.

S2 Games is aware of the update issues and looking into it.

For now, you have to download the latest client and install it manually. If the latest client hasn't been uploaded so far, you have to download an old client ( http://www.gamershell.com/download_49590.shtml ) and update it.

If you are using XFire make sure to quit any instance of it before trying to update.
