The problem is the game won't actually initialize. I doube click the application and it just flashs and doesn't turn on.
Firstly, Here's my opengl info stuff:
direct rendering: No
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2
server glx extensions:
client glx vendor string: SGI
client glx version string: 1.4
client glx extensions:
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.5.1)
OpenGL extensions:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV41.8 [GeForce Go 6800] (rev a2)
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.18-53.el5 #1 SMP Wed Oct 10 16:34:02 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I'm running RHEL5 atm for a class at college. I'm wondering if it's possible anyone on here knows how to get my Direct Rendering on? The computer is a Inspiron 9300 (Old laptop) with a Geforce 6800 graphics card installed. Any help you guys can provide would be awesome. Thanks!
