Severe lag after joining a large clan.

I joined a clan recently, and ever since I've been getting really bad low fps throughout the game. Because of this I ended up leaving the clan (temporarily) since I was unable to continue participating in any games without encountering severe drops in fps.

I've read that there's a mod that fixes this large clan list issue, but when I tried implementing the files, it did not help. I also tried disabling notifications, etc. with zero success. Will S2 be fixing this issue in the near future?

AFAIK, Whenever an event for someone in the clan happens, such as a member logging in or out, or joining or leaving a game, it refreshes the entire Clan Management list, even if you have all C&C notifications turned off. When you are in a large clan this causes massive stuttering and freezing whenever a large group of clan members trigger the Clan Management List refresh, for example if there is an inhouse game which ends, your game will stutter/freeze each time a member leaves the game.

Currently the only fix seems to be the UI mod that fixes the issue by preventing the clan list from updating unless it's visibly showing.

Installation

To install the honmod version, download the honmod file and put it into HoN's "/mods/" folder (if it's not there, then you need to install the mod manager), and then enable the mod and hit "Apply". The locations for the mods folder are:

Mac: Right-click your "Heroes of Newerth" application, click Show Package Contents, and open the "game" folder. there should be a "mods" folder there

As for whether S2 will be fixing this directly, I believe they are aware of it, but I really do not what their plans for it are.

That's the mod I was talking about before. I tried one in a different file format, but that didn't work. I'd rather not install additional software just to fix one problem in HoN. This was why I've asked about S2's status on this issue. Couldn't they implement this mod as a temporary fix while they deal with the bigger issue? It seems to work from what I've read, but again, I don't want to deal with installing additional software.

Another (minor) issue - I remember someone from S2 saying that they'd implement a high res icon for the Mac version of the game when it was still in beta. From the looks of it, the icon is still low resolution. When it's at its regular size in the Dock, it's fine, but when you have magnification enabled, and it's zoomed in, then it's all blurry. The suggestion was to use a PNG file from fan pack, but wouldn't it be simpler if S2 implemented it already?
