Best Kill Stealer

Who's the best Kill Stealer in the game?
I think a good hero for this role needs to have a skill that does a burst of damage instantly, keeps the hero safe from harm, and does not need to wait for a long time.

Here are some I've thought about:


Thunderbringer - your Ultimate ensures you can Kill Steal but you can only do it every 2 minutes. Though he does have his Lightning Bolt to KS regularly but Thunderbringer is kind of slow.
Pyromancer - your Ultimate is great for Kill Stealing every minute but it requires you to appear and might endanger yourself.
Scout - you can start to KS really early on by just staying in Vanish and only coming out to KS when they are about to die. Late game you can use your Ultimate on heroes that are getting targeted so you can do one final big hit on them to get the kill.

Thunderbringer obvisouly. Can steal almost all team. Best non ultimate nuke, extremely fast, quite low cooldown. Even if you miss one , you can still cast your Chain lightning. Even if you are far from the target, you got you ultimate. Not annoying enough? Buy a Codex. THe fastest way to make your team flame you.

Wana get flamed? try it. If it doesnt work i'll give another plan.

I've had a scout follow me around staying vanished and taking all my kills with his codex and ult. It was great. He wouldn't appear at all no matter what was happening unless he could grab a kill or two. We barely won that. He was 12-2-8 and I was 8-6-25 as torturer. The best part was him saying how pro he was and trash talking everyone.

on topic: probably thunder bringer. his ulti alone is enough to give him a high ranking, but add in his other 2 nukes and you got a monster kill stealer. short cool downs, fast casts, long range, and decent damage

What about Hammerstorm? He uses his Battle Command skill, and the other team runs around like little sissies scared; then he throws his hammer at them to stun them all and 1-hits their entire team with his ulti.

Not really KS'ing, but do you really need someone else to weaken them first when you're playing as Hammerstorm?

Andromeda with Staff of the Master and Codex. You can hop in whenever it looks like an enemy is going to die, and eliminate the chance your ally kills him first. Also, you have a 1200 range escape blink as long as an ally is nearby.

Stop saying heroes like Legionnaire already, his only reliable KS skill is his ulti which you normally can only use once in a teamfight.

The best that I can think of are Night Hound, Thunderbringer, Blacksmith and Moon Queen.

if it wasnt that parasite has 2 single target nuke to lasthit with excluding codecs, and that parasite passive grants you +28% damage on codex.

Codex + spellshards parasite is matched by everybody with codex + spellshards.except he has two other high damage nukes on low cooldown boosted by his passive able to do a very high amount of damage with each. this equates to easy ks'ing if it wasn't obvious.

again the only one that rivals/surpasses him is tb (with three nukes, two on low cooldown, a global, and a % damage passive)

followed somewhat closely by :bomb: and :chip: (just time your nukes ehm "properly," especially chipper is an AMAZING ks'er with good timing on rockets, and bomb obviously with global ult and timer detonation/spammable boomdust)

then you got :flin: :soulr: :pyro: :gaun: :fayd: with the ks ults+high damage burst, and :wret: deserves a special mention for her very high mobility and low cooldown scream. bubbles if well played (though you kind of have to play him wrong to ks well with him :p)

like someone mentioned lego :legi: is also GREAT for ks'ing, but that assumes you play him well/get good momentum on him. then you got :mast: :noma: :scou: :monk: :damp: :nigh: :dead: :krak: :drun: but it's starting to get up in the air how effective they are at ks'ing with their cooldowns/role or just being melee.

but again, parasite and tb are the only ones who have several low cooldown ranged nukes capable of doing like 400+ damage with each (because of their passives), hence why imo i consider them the two best killstealers in the game. bomb and a well-played (err aiming/timing-wise) chipper close behind.

This. He's gotta be. Every kill he ever gets is a KS. In fact the last time I was accused of a KS was with a 4/8/20 Glacius.

Seriously tho? :chip:. How many times you go to set up a gank in a lane, and get a double kill without meaning to. With most KS'ers you have to try to KS to get the kills, with Chipper they just happen.
Bomb also pretty stronk contender. depending on team, sometimes can compare to TB

I went 52:12 in a game (it was all mid but still) With thunderbringer.

KS everything and then rush codex to ks even more, and then you can nuke the low p targets in the enemy team without having to last hit from your team mates

Pebbles (Toss your own teammate so THEY are disabled and can't get the last hit, dirty trick I know) His combo still hits for 1,200 unmigitated, so get a PK, Codex/Spellshards to increase.

Best KS-Heroes are Garbage if you die, so you should ask for the best Immortalhero.

So far for me its easy going with Fayde in below 1700. If you want to you can stay behind in clashes and ks with codex, or solo kill the crap out of the enemies.

Get your 320 GPM in Forest with (nearly) no Risk, get Codex lvl 3 in 17 mins and own the **** out of Agi and Int Heroes.

KS is also possible ofc.

I had an awesome game, in wich EW flammed me for not ganking at lvl 3/4 or **** (it was like 1500) so she said she want to steal all my kills. Well that was the time the Keeper of the Codex-Idea was born.

She won 1vs2 bot and owned the **** out of the enemies tbh.

Succubus hasnt been mentioned? thats a shocker to me... Heartache is a great KS skill 300 pure damage low cooldown also heals you so you can chalice and still be stable. Build a codex if your lucky and dont have a team carry

codex blacksmith is pretty brutal. he can ks like a pyro ulting every 10 sec with lucky multi casts, his dot will kill heroes running away on low health, and codex is definitely way to build bs anyway so he will have it.

if he decides to follow you around and only ks. goodluck getting a kill unless you are dw or someone similar. with big ult.
