Chat disappears after 5-30 min played

Brief Description: A brief description of the bug.. maybe a sentence or two.
Chat(not only chat btw, also messages about kills and disconnect button, see screens) disappears after 5-30 min played, only minimap pinging is visible, cant be fixed by alt+tab or hon reinstall but can be temp fixed by reconnecting. Very old bug (more that half a year or even older, just cant remember right now)

How to Replicate: Detailed instructions on how to replicate the bug. If it's not easily replicated, poster should describe how they came across the bug the first time.
I have a home LAN build on D-Link DI704p, bug appears on every PC within this network, on winXP and win7, but I did not tested other OS.
After connecting same PC in almost any other netowork this bug cant be reproduced.

Match ID& In-Game Timestamps: Post the match ID and timestamp(s) in which the bug occured if applicable.
Match ID - for example 27435785, but bug appears in any other games played from my LAN.

So it is a personal problem. Probably the router too because everything on your network has this bug as you said. Are there any available updates to your router?

i found last firmware update from 21.07.2008 and made an update, but i forgot to check what version it was before.
ill report if there will be any changes or not

im not sure that this problem is my personal, coz there is 2 almost same bug reports that i mentioned in 1st port

I`ve got the same problem for a very long time. I tried to play on different keyboards, Win XP and Win 7, disabled almost all binds and buttons in "control" menu - but still I have this bug. Sometimes it happenes after 10 minutes of the game, sometimes - after 40 minutes. Thats very annoying and I cant play in a normal way with full ingame information.
Btw i have no router, its cable from my ISP.
Any ideas?

Update
I just checked last replay and i see chat and all announcements. But only on replay. In game i "lost the chat" in the middle of the game time.
What am doing wrong?

I have played 2 games yesterday, 1st was perfect - 30 min with no chat losses, but 2nd was terrible - I lost chat almost instantly, and after several reconnects it happened again and again. I am confused.

So what should we start with? Soft- or hardware analysis? Any ingame bugs or some drivers issues?

I think its game bug with networking. I have 2 completely different PCs, and you have different Internet connection, so it seems to be not a soft or hardware or network issue, but it occurs only on specific conditions that I cant really imagine, coz I have no idea how HoN chat engine works.

I think there is something with the networks not letting sone things through, similar to how you had to open ports to host games back in WC3.

If something does not letting chat packets go through it would disable chat completely, but its random disconnections, so I think we need to investigate how chat packets travel to server and whats the difference between them and regular game packets.

Well we need some help here to determine that issues and finalize if we should change something with our connection settings.

I dont wana make any experiments with my network configuration(due to I not sure that it is bug of my network but not ISPs or HoNs) but with such attitude of support team I will be forced to take some action by myself.

Or S2 games will say same something about investigating or fixing this bug officially, so I will sleep calm and wont have a chance to destroy my equipment?

It is not so well-known bug but ur not even trying to find a solution of this. Whats the matter? I lose tons of games cuz its like i play alone vs 5. I cant read misses, i cant read some advices from allies, cant see when my team gonna attack and so on. I want you to TRY to get a clue of this cuz a every single game is ruined for me and for my team.

Can you just determine what evidence you need? As far as I understood the screenshots do not prove a lot? Just tell us and we try to get the evidence to help you to solve this problem.

I don't solve these types of bugs and they're more on the low priority of things (and there are higher priority bugs which aren't solved yet), so I don't know the precise type of information that is needed.

It sounds like "I have more important things to do, so later...". Its not a critical bug for majority players but still its a problem needed to be solved.
Still hope to hear someone from S2 TEAM with suggestions to win the mentioned bug.

You should PM the other S2 staff members then :)

I would file it in the bug tracker if I knew the source of the problem, but most threads in Indeterminate are composed of bugs that have an unknown source

I just played the game on my mac book with another ISP. Everything just fine. I`m puzzled. I will try to play on PC version just with another ISP. I`m sure the bug related with some internet settings.
