Community Alt Avatar Contest

Over the past few weeks, we've seen an excellent response to the new Alt Avatars. We've also seen a number of amazing ideas for them. That's why we are hosting the first Community Designed Alt Avatar Contest! The rules are simple: give us your best idea for a new Alt Avatar for the hero of your choosing, we'll lower it down to the top 5, and the community will vote for which one they would like to have added to the game.

The winner will have his/her Alt Avatar added to the game, will be given their Alt Avatar for free, and will be rewarded with 1,000 Goblin Coins to spend in the Store!

We ask that you do not submit any copyrighted material and that you only submit one idea. If you submit more than one, you will be disqualified.

Submission judging will begin as soon as we feel there are enough entries to judge- in other words, don't wait too long to submit your idea!

Best of luck to everyone! We look forward to seeing all of your creative ideas!

Someone get to work on Lucksmith! Its not my idea at all, but make a blacksmith leprechaun skin! Would be so funny to see a little leprechaun running around the battlefield throwing pots of gold at the enemy and using leprechaun magic to stun them. Ult is Luck of the Irish of course!

Hmmm... I'll have to think about this...

Got it: Alien Andromeda
It'd be the typical "little green men" type alien. Green skin, gender ambiguous, big head with big black eye (or slits). The animations would be completely different. It would walk instead of float, the attack animation could be firing a little laser gun, Meteor could either still be a meteor or maybe some kind of freeze-ray type thing. Aurora could stay the same, or maybe even have a spaceship fly over the area or leading the aurora effect. And her Ult really wouldn't have to change much. If I recall, there is some kind of swapping animation that plays, so change that with a Teleporter; put a glowing disk on the ground under both heroes for a couple seconds when it's used.

I'll attach some pictures to better illustrate my ideas for the animations.

Since my Dream hero probably won't get implemented, make Soul Reaper a female angel/demon hybrid. Her natural form would be the angel, but while Withering Presence is active, her appearence would "pulse" between angel and demon.

Judgement: Little angelic creatures or white wisps sent to heal allied units and little demons or dark wisps to damage enemies.

Inhuman Nature: Make the souls of the affected units ascend, like some kind of redemption.

Demonic Execution: Fits beautifully as it is.

Wrath of the Pharaoh (Wrath of the Dance Floor) = pelvic thrust > fires streamers > Pharaoh is pulled along in classic right-arm-pointing-to-the-sky fashion.

Female Pebbles with coconut bra is mine.

Edit: Elaborating...

She would be a rock elemental just like Pebbles but a bit slimmer. She would have palm tree branches/leaves for hair with a coconut bra on and perhaps palm tree branch/leave under garments too. Her name could be Coco.

When she uses Stalagmites, instead of rocks she throws tons of coconuts.

When she Chucks she does a quick spin as she throws someone and says "Swoop!."

If she uses Stalagmites and Chuck consecutively she screams "Wombo Combo!" (instead of "Swoooop!") <---this can be left out possibly but i always wished pebbles would say this.

The Ultimate would work the same, the higher it is the bigger she gets, she should have a good bust so her increased boob size is noticed as the ability levels.

Her voice should be kinda deep like female glacius but more outgoing.

Pandamonium skin: Some kinda Kung Fu Tiger, female or male does not matter. Some of this concept I got from the kung fu panda movie. But there the tiger is not holding a boomstick :P. Can also use other melee weapons like swords, ninshackos or something.

Anyways,

First skill should have the same animation as now.

Second skill. Tiger leaps towards target and throws them behind him growling them so they get minus armor and movement speed.

Third skill. Tiger jumps up in the air with his weapon and slams the ground so hard with his weapon that it stuns targets and dealing damage, if no targets are there it backfires, therefor slowing him for a short duration.

4th skill/ultimate. Tiger growls so hard that the target he growls at gets stunned/disabled and for the next 4 attacks the tiger swings his weapon at target.

Everything here can ofc be changed into a better idea if anyone has any.

Model would have human male qualities, wear a brown priest's garb with a rope belt, a cross necklace that the "javelin of light" would eminate out of, hold a crossbow in his LEFT HAND (since we need more left handers in this game), right hand is used to pull more bolts out of the quiver on his back, the fletching on the bolts designate the color of the player.

Animations could be very similar or the same.

1st spell: FIREBALL -> ( can't find suitable name) Well, he throws a coin(maybe) on the target. When the stun hits ( 4x MC= 4 times) coins drop from the target. If its 4x multicast it says BANKRUPT above the hero.

2nd spell: FLAMING HAMMER -> (something like suitcase) He throws his suitcase at the target. When the DOT is on the target money falls off like when he is on fire from the FLAMING HAMMER dot.

3rd spell: FRENZY -> COINZY BS like earns some coins and he goes all crazy. When he uses it the sound from some videogames where u earn money apears it goes like "chaching''. I cant find it on youtube.

Chain lightning - Goes down on all for, squishes his face together (like in pokémon) then a lightning shoots out from his body.

Blast of lightning - He cuddles up in to a ball-like shape, a lightning quickly goes up from his body in the air and striking the enemy from above.

spell one, shards: the cast is a shadowy pokemon showing at him (prolly blastoise with his 2 cannons on the back) and shooting out 2 beams of water toi be the shards

spell 2, summons: summons 1 pikachu shooting paralyzing lazors (slow) and 1 pidgey (can also be the uppgrades) scouting it out

spell 3, charge: running to him with a pokeball to try and catch him? =D

Spell 4, (ultimate) avalanche: trowing a pokeball the the targetted player thereby stunning him =D

No, he doesn't need to ride a motorcycle. Just make him look like a hardcore badass biker, make his machine look a bit more "cool" with leather straps and chains and w/e the stereotypical biker has, and change his animation theme from magnetism to fire. That would be awesome. If anyone can do real pictures for this, I would love him/her.

Call of the Valkyrie -> Robin Hood throw random arrows(like forsake archer skill) hitting enemies in a certain range

Javelin of Night -> Robin Hood use his bow to fire a arrow that stuns an enemie target based on distance

Courageous Leap -> Robin Hood use a liana to move faster

Valkyrie's Prism -> Robin Hood and his allies hidden themselves below the ground, surprising their opponents

I almost feel like I was destined to win this contest as I very recently came up with an excellent idea. :)
It is time for S2 to give Defiler an alternate avatar. No more ugly floating beast from the Netherlands. Now we have sexy, Angel Defiler.

Wave of Death becomes Wave of Purity which releases a blue/white wave.
Grave Silence creates a runic seal effect (yeah, cool right?) on the ground.
Power in Death doesn't even need an effect by default. However, I think it would be cool to maybe make a halo that gets brighter with each level.
Unholy Expulsion would be swarms of angels flying around Angel Defiler.

I'll do some nice paint art to followup and some more revamps to this post but this is pretty much my overall idea.

Here's my entry. A female Ninja version of Swiftblade! What I'm aiming for here is a feminine, yet kickass version of SB in the female form. The theme here is red and black. Her mysterious face is partly covered, but less than her male counterpart. The weapon should remain true to the original Swiftblade, continuing to weild dual swords; two swords with a more suited style to the femme fatale's model! Dual weapons that combine with her red and black costume; the two swords are partly covered with blood from the countless victims she has slayed in the past!

All shop items including alt avatars are purely cosmetic. This would be a gameplay difference, a nerf to Defiler while using the model because your opponents can tell what level your passive is.

Make a angel type skin. Of Nymphora or Valkyrie for example. A really powerful angel, bad ass looking (can still be legion).
I guess it would as well fit really good in the universum of newerth. Otherwise it would be nice to have a really liquid skin for sandwraith. More like a dusted manifestation (just sand flowing around and forming a kind of weapon out of sand while hitting).

Greetings and here is my entry: Girl Scout!

At first, I had this concept of boy scout -scout, but then again, don't know how Scout organization would cope with their logo/outfit in a violent and generally bad-mannered community.

Then, for some reason, I thought, hey, why there would be no female scouts? I mean generally in fantasy RPG girls are attributed with dexterity and beauty, rogues in steel bikinis anyone?

But then again, our scout is not that kind of a rogue, he is master of vanishing and superior close-combat fighter (Savage trailer, jumping on that beast etc.). Therefore, we need someone like him, but with some female attributes, and to add something new, a bit comical and in-joke like things for her (codex 5 scout, in teamfights he vanishes and runs etc.)...

In short: Girl Scout - Ginger and a bad attitude redhead, full of nasty comments.

Generally she would have somewhat same outfit as scout, except for under her hood comes out line of red hair. Her ultimate, crossbow, could be changed to sling, making more sense as of the cast time (she needs her time to swing it around over her head).

Hey guys i got one.

As the soul reaper is my favorite hero, I really would like for him to look even more awesome.

As a harvester of souls he must look like a real Grim Reaper.
He must have a medium scythe with a metal painted in white or silver, the handle should be slightly bent and not to long ... like the peasants have at mowing grass.

He should be wearing a long black robe, torn in a few places.

As the head is covered with cloak, his face would not be seen, it would be a black void that shines darknes.

On his shoulders he shod have white or whiteish red skulls with some sort of fine animation.

I'm still not sure how his attack animation shold look because of course he is a range hero with scythe in his hands ...
I thought maybe if he had a slightly open arms and pushed them a bit forward and then fired the projectiles, something like :corr: .

When he is casting his first skill he shold raise his arms in the air and fire the souls around him to the targets, as he now does.

When he is casting the ulty, he wold raise his scythe with both hands in the air towards the middle and would sweep down and shouted your soul is mine.
Whatewer u think it wold work better be my guest and change it .

An older 'mafia' boss who runs around in a nice suit. His weapon should be a Thomson, a gun used alot by the mafia during that timeperiod. As for his attack animation he will shoot bullets:

- His Puppeteers Hold can stay the same.

Harlequin Swiftblade

Kinda like the Assassin creed one, would be a Harlequin with 2 short sword.

Spin : Harlequin would jump around, slashing everything around him like a :madm:. At level 4, when he attack while spinning, he could have a nice attack animation.

Crit : Over the top animation.

Counter Attack : Would throw a dagger at the target.

Ultimate : Yet another "flamboyant" attack animation, with sort of teleportation between each attack leaving a tray behind, so you could still keep track of him, like :swif:.

or
-she makes a heart with her hands and then spread them apart horizontally and a huge wave of pink or something comes out

The movement and staff sways are agile, the ''cape'' he wears around is similar to the colour as the current voodoojester robe, on right side he has something like a ceremonial pouldron with markings. The feathers and the rag on the staff supposedly could be team colored.

The bottles are there for similarity to VJ and his stun skill, as for the healing/debuff skill he waves the necklace which is around his neck (or just holds it out with a following staff wave) .

Cursed ground skill, nothing special, some ritualistic dance maybe ? Or just a staff spin and then point towards the selected target with the end of the staff.

As for the ultimate he uses the same spirit ward as the current VJ OR tosses a rune that spawns two spiritual serpents/hydras that then take turns in attacking.

Instead of electric shock auto-attacks, he throws dinosaur bones!!!

His Magnetic Contraption have now become Dino-Eggs of Fury!!!! He lays the eggs himself and upon explosion releases an egg-type goo animation on all surrounding enemies.
"These eggs, where do they come from?"

His Opposite Charges have become a Terrorizing sneeze that causes the enemy to be drawn in to a giant ball of T-Rex snot.
"Even bad-ass dinosaurs have allergies."

His Electric Frenzy has become Rage Frenzy! Casting spells causes Doctor Rex to gain extra anger and upon next attack releases a terrorizing shriek causing extra damage/splash and slow.
"Rage! Rage! RAAAAGEE!"

His Ludicrous Speed has transformed into Top Speed! While there is much debate to how fast a tyrannosaurus-rex could run a straight line, there is no arguing this is one faaaast dino!!!
"I'm running for you!"

I think it would awesome to see a fierce dinosaur sprinting across the map to lay an egg followed by a terrorizing scream to demolish his foes. I would want the avatar to keep up with heroes like Dampeer and Moraxus. More serious looking as opposed to cartoonish.

Just think about it for a second, When Pandamonium uses his attacks it just looks like he is humping the enemies anyway with his Ultimate and Flurry, and the Flick lol, talk about snatchin em kids. But if for some reason you dont wanna implent the internet hero pedobear you could just make a grizzly bear skin for pandamonium instead, its basically the same thing althought in my eyes he would always be pedomonium.

Might as well post some ideas and my concept:

Voodoo Raptor for :vood:

The movement and staff sways are agile, the ''cape'' he wears around is similar to the colour as the current voodoojester robe, on right side he has something like a ceremonial pouldron with markings. The feathers and the rag on the staff supposedly could be team colored.

The bottles are there for similarity to VJ and his stun skill, as for the healing/debuff skill he waves the necklace which is around his neck (or just holds it out with a following staff wave) .

Cursed ground skill, nothing special, some ritualistic dance maybe ? Or just a staff spin and then point towards the selected target with the end of the staff.

As for the ultimate he uses the same spirit ward as the current VJ OR tosses a rune that spawns two spiritual serpents/hydras that then take turns in attacking.

Wow, just wow. Very good job sir. We need more raptors.

This is not a reskin, the model changes and so do animations. Its not just coloring of the current model, it needs to portray a different demeanor and character.

Ok I think a skin for dark lady would go down quite well.

'Dread Lady', 'Lady of the Night'.

The change is to make her look a little more bad ass than she is. At the moment shes shiny happy people holding hands. I wanted somthing more ominious. The cape will move alittle like ds' second skill. The blades can be a bit bigger I don't mind but I think the whole cloaked woman look works for her.

Most of her skills will look the same, except dark blades should glow or pulse or drip blood (bright recognisable blood obviously). This skin wont put off from the origional look too much and with all her skills basicly the same it wont make new players question who she is when she comes into lane.

Alright, since we can "Magmus" the heroes

So I have two suggestions:

First
Siwftbale:swif: as "Wolverine"
Appearance: The classic wolverine as everyone know him from the comic books and the cartoon movies. And of course the abillities' animations will be changed, in the game "Wolverine chronicles" (or whatever is) he has some other abillities such as:

Leap, spin, enrage, and so on.

First skill: Should be like the Swiftblade Spin but in this case, Wolverine goes wild and starts spinning, and right when you activate the skill he screams like usual (use the original sounds from the game or somewhere else).
Second skill : Counter attack should be a move that Wolverine makes: pulls out a gun he got from (god knows where) and shots back at the enemy and Wolverine will say "Have some". no matter if the enemy is a range or melee heroe. The Critical Strike will have an animation too: Wolverine screams again and he makes a nice an swift move with his blades, creating an "X" like hit at the targeted enemy. And finally his ultimate will be called "Wrath of Wolverine" but will do the same thing as Swiftblade's ultimate. Wolverine enrages and goes wild cutting everyone in his way, bouncing from target to target, and if there is only 1 targed, then he bounces and cuts it to pieces all the time, while the ultimate lasts.

In a short preview:
Name : Wolverine (Swifterine)
1st skill : Rage spin
2nd skill: Shoot Back
3rd skill: X-Slash
Ultimate skill: Wrath of Wilverine
All the skills do the same thing as Swiftblade's skills, but only with different animation and sound.

OK my second suggestion is about Engineer :engi: as "The Spy Hacker"

It would be very nice if he looks like a "bad ass" soldier or a special forces kinda guy (black suit, mask on the face, or some night vision goggles on his head) Without the beard and the big belly. This guy should be fit and strong, with muscles everywhere and should be a bit taller of course. And his role will be something like a spy + gadget expert + and a sharpshooter.
He will be armed with a rifle, but not a rifle from the 19th sentury, but a rifle like M16 or smth way more modern with a scope on the rifle, and maybe a laser sight also, and the beggining of the laser could be seen from the gun. He walks normaly, a little bend forward, holding his rifle in his hands. And of course his speech will be changed, so as his skills, and the sound from his gun, when he shoots, the sound should be more (realistic).

His abillities:

Of course all will be the same, but the animations and sounds would be different.

1St skill: "The Keg" renamed to (frag grenade)
And of course he makes a move and throus a grenade, half the size of "The Keg" it should be visible to everyone too. Upon landing deals an explosion simmilar to The Keg's explosion, but the sound should be different and again more (realistic). And everything else for this skill is the same (mana cost, cooldown, dmg etc)

2nd Skill: "Steam Turret" renamed to Sentry Gun

3rd Skill: "Tinker" renamed to "jack n' hack"
This will do the exact same things as the "Tinker" skill does, but the animation will be how he uses a wiregun and electrifies the target, and of course the target suffers or benefits from the effect of this skill in addition if it's and enemy target or a friendly target.

Ultimate Skill: "Energy Field" renamed to "Power jammer"
The Hacking Spy throws a box with 2 antennas 1 red and 1 green and between them, electric sparkles go through, it can be attacked by the enemy. When this skill is activated The Hacking Spy whispers "Feeling POWERLESS? and then (Laughs)". Everything else about this skill is the same as the Engineer's "Energy Field".

Geronimo Pharaoh!
-This pharaoh skin would be based off of a Native American chief. Think this type of vibe:

Hellfire: I don't really know what you would change here, maybe just make the Hellfire turquoise to fit with the other suggested skills. Or even make the stun aoe form a dreamcarcher shaped aura like the Daemonic Breastplate.

Tormented Soul: Still a tormented soul. Imagine a turquoise soul of an eagle soaring across the map with two blue soul trails twisting in a double helix around it as its wings flap to snipe some poor sap stepping into their well! :D

Wall of Mummies: Could change to a "wall of totems". Have a bunch of totem poles come up from the ground *thunk*, if an enemy gets too close the blast could originate from a totem's mouth or something.

Wrath of the Pharaoh: Of course it would be "Wrath of the Chief" or something else, but it would be pretty much the same as the original ulti. Maybe have the hooks be turquoise instead of the yellow/orange of pharaoh. He could shoot spirit hooks or spirit arrows instead of Pharaoh's hooks.

His weapon would probably be changed to a tomahawk/hatchet type of weapon to fit the theme.

As far as abilities go this guy needs no changes.
It's Rampage, he charges you down, stomps on your face and rams you till you're dead.
I threw in some chains, cause well you know, Rampage needs his damn chains.

Myrmidon as a Dragon.

all good fantasy games need a Dragon, it's time we get to play one as a hero.

Myrmidon's normal form can be a reasonably sized firebreathing(balling) dragon for his ranged attack, you could even change this to iceshards to match his alignment to water.

Weed Field can be turned into a sort of forsaken ground, wether you visualise this as Craggy Rocks shooting up from the earth, or simply a magic weed field to trap his enemies a Dragon can pull it off.

Dragon shooting a fish? yeah why not he's a water Dragon, assailing his enemies with his fishy friends.

His charge skill will be fairly simple, he takes flight and hastens to his destination with great speed.

His ultimate would have him grow into the dragons we all fear, the ones where they tear you limb from limb with their massive teeth.

Rock-a-teer : A whole new way to pull some strings!


Asthetics: Whatever rock styling S2 loves best, as long as He has a guitar, maybe work an amp in there somewhere on him.


Attack: Blast enemies from a distance with riffs from your axe ::WIDDLY WIDDLY WHAAA::


Skill 1: Tangle - The Rock-a-teer shows just how hard it is to play on stage and throws a tangled mess of amp chords at his enemy restraining movement. "Trippy"

Skill 2: Mosh! - The Rock-a-teer plays a savage tune that inspires an enemy to mosh, attacking the closest player friend or foe. "Rock till you drop...or someone else does"

Skill 3: Rip-Chord - The Rock-a-teer finishes off a measure with a hardcore riff increasing the damage of his normal attack and damaging enemies in an area. "Bringing the house down!"

Skill 4: Amplify - The Rock-a-teer throws a pair of headphones onto an enemy player and plugs it into his monster Amp! The Rock-a-teer or any other player can attack the amp causing feedback and damaging the enemy player plugged in. The enemy takes Amplified damage. The cord will break at 1500 yards. "Testing, 1, 2.."

Along with changing his hair and clothing to be more colorful, I suggest changing his attack modifier to rainbows and making him say reading-related phrases when he attacks and casts spells. He should also have a children's book in his hand and more interesting voice acting (right now he sounds incredibly generic). It would make playing Carry Vindicator with Flamboyant pack very entertaining.

Alt model: Think somekind of villian from any of the conan the barbarian movies, equiped with a Kyoketsu-shoge. Normal attack animation would be him just holding it like a short sword or something in his hand slashing at people from different angles.

Ability animations:
Static grip: Throws the shoge onto a enemy hero and start pulling himselfs towards the enemy.

Why?: Simple , the pointy end get stuck on the meaty bits.

Electric Shield: "shields" himself by spinning the shoge very fast around him creating a metal shield around him.

Why?: If someone gets close they will get cut by the shoge-shield. Reduce dmg cause the shoge blocks stuff so not all attacks reach him.

Energy Absorption: Grabs the shoge in his hands and does a heavy wide arch move with it around him.

Why?: He's a villian dude, he get psyched by seeing the blood float so he gets pumped up and crazy (stealing mana and ignores dmg hence getting the armor buffs)

Cleansing Shock: Makes a warcry directed at someone.

Why?: He's a villian, villian always have annoying battlecries so when he directs it towards someone they goes into shock (dispels stuff).


Summary: I think electrician should have an alt avatar that looks like some kind of barbarian-villian from Conan. Equiped with a Kyoketsu-shoge. His first 3 abilties would utilies the shoge and the ultimate would be a annoying villian warcry that shocks people.

Call of Winter: The bird could be a raven and the Coeurl could be a ram.
The raven was a respected bird in norse mytholyg, look at Hugin and Muninn which was Odins birds, and rams pulled Thors chariot.

Cold Shoulder: This is fine as it is, but add lightning effects on impact instead of ice.

Avalanche: Thor throws his hammer Mjöllnir at the target.
Mjöllnir is Thors mighty hammer with which he can create thunder and lightning, it also always returns to the thrower.

Since my Dream hero probably won't get implemented, make Soul Reaper a female angel/demon hybrid. Her natural form would be the angel, but while Withering Presence is active, her appearence would "pulse" between angel and demon.

Judgement: Little angelic creatures or white wisps sent to heal allied units and little demons or dark wisps to damage enemies.

Inhuman Nature: Make the souls of the affected units ascend, like some kind of redemption.

Demonic Execution: Fits beautifully as it is.Now this I approve of. :O

I really think this skin would fit her.

On a more serious note though:

It would be cool to have Doctor Repulsor as some mine laying goblin/troll, whatever race he is :P (yes a bit like Techies).

Q skill would be him putting down an explosive mine.
W skill could be him throwing an electrical charged rope to drag his opponent closer.
E skill would be the normal attack animation.
R skill would be him shooting himself forward with rocket boots or some device on his back (something like this http://www.techshout.com/images/libelula-rocket-powered-helicopter-backpack.jpg)

His attack animation would be him holding a rocket launcher and shooting away rockets or some sort of fiery attack (again think techies, this would bring some nostalgia to old DOTA players too). As for his appearance, you could just take the Repulsor artwork and remove all the gadgets and have him run around.

Having another goblin/troll running around might seem lackluster. However I would love to see him using his ultimate and yelling "YAAAAAAAAAA" across the screen. Major fun.

Damage and effects would of course all be the same.

My suggestion: make swiftblade a chef! His swords would be turned to kitchen knives, or cleavers or some cutting utensil. He would wear a tall white chef's hat (toque iirc) and a chef's outfit. His spin could make a blender noise, and his ult would be somewhat related to chopping up food not sure how yet. Maybe like chopping a salad or meat. But anyway he would say food related phrases (If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen) and overall be very cool.

Say hello to the Plague Bearer. The Plague bearer is the chiprer version of Plague rider. Historically, rodents have been the main carriers of plague, and it would be natural for this diseased chiprel to uptake this unholly task.

The fact is that there aren't enough chiprels in this game, just Chipper. WE NEED MORE CHIPRELS. I LOVE CHIPRELS. The plague bearer can be Chipper's evil cousin.

The Plague Bearer chiprel will use his towering rod to execute all his spells, and could potentially have a chipprelled version of Plague riders voice.

Personally, I think that this would be a great submission, and even if it doesn't go through... please add more chiprels to the game... and stop adding all these shitty little green men.

Thunderbringer Alt Skin Idea:

MC Thunderbringer; He has MC clothing on (sleeveless shirt with an open front, baggy pants, the stylish hat and some bling). He carries a boom-box on one shoulder (which is why he's so slow, he's jamming to his boom-box while walking everywhere). In the other hand (normally the one with the staff), he has a microphone.

I was thinking it would be cool to incorporate the boombox and microphone into his skill animations and maybe make his attack animation a musical note (instead of that ball of energy): Through my own brainstorming I was thinking maybe his chain lightning could be like a string of musical notes that float between the targets, and the lightning bolt could be a different musical note or some kind of effect that drops down from the sky. His passive could be though of doing damage via reverberations (although obviously there would be no way of showing this in game without changing the ability tooltip based on the skin selected. For the ultimate I was thinking that, since normally TB would jump up and lightning would hit everyone, that instead he maybe raised his boom-box into the air and shot a blast of music out of it.

EDIT: Just read the Lady Gaga Succubus idea by LUC3NT; I loled cause we both thought of boom-boxes but want to post "inb4 ppl said I took it and used it on a different hero".

Skill 3: Does a rapid spin throwing exploding naptha in the air around him (her; you can't tell cos HE/SHE IS A NINJA)
Ulti: Sets up (draws back or grabs items from ninja pockets) then throws a buggerload of knives/shuriken/caltrops/exploding naptha bombs in an arc in front of him/her/it blowing everyone's faces up!

Alt Hero Idea - a female ninja in black with 2 daggers or katana's
why? - cause female ninja's rock and also some of the moves would look so great..for example..
Flash = Vanish. she'd toss something down near her feet and in a puff of smoke she is gone!
Mana combustion = Envenom (i know the names are sounding very WoW..) - She coats her blades with venom that burns mana from the enemy and does damage, when u first get this ability there will be greenish stuff dripping from her blades and as u get more levels of it, it'll be more drippy and more glowy.
Master of the Mantra = Meditation (i duno u guys can come up with better names lol) - Nothing would be different in her look (i dont think it is for Magebane) but the effect takes place.
Mana Rift - The Black Egg - Usually ninja create these things called black eggs, i duno how they make them but it looks like a black egg and what they do is they fill it with finely ground glass and toss it into the enemies eyes to blind them usually, but in this case, She would toss what would look like a mix of ground glass and sand onto the enemy and u guys can play around with the effects to make it look cool
Alternate Ulti idea = Mana Rift = Assassinate - She would toss a quick shuriken or a katana/dagger (whatever looks cooler) at the enemy and alot of blood graphics should be shown (kinda like dampeer's ulti), and If this dagger/shuriken/katana kills the enemy, it would be on their dead body as it disappears! (maybe thats very hard to program but It's just an idea)

I didn't really like the magebane base character model and design and always wished for this opportunity to get something my way, and She-NinjaBane would rawk :D

Rocket Rider Rampage

We all know Rampage is known for being extremely manly, riding a rhino, with a giant club in hand. So how do we make him more manly?

We make him ride a rocket, and give him a big hammer.

That's right ladies, the game needs more hammers. Axes are so last year, this year is all about the hammers. And missiles.

Ok, onto the changes to stuff:

Obviously, the model is of him riding a rocket. The inspiration comes from the classic 'cowboy riding a nuclear bomb as it drops out of a plane' thing, and the Rampage animation with fire coming from the rhino's backside. So logically I made him a cowboy. It'll make more sense soon.

Skill/animation changes:

Stampede - Flame's from the rear of the rocket increase in intensity and Rampage is overwhelmed by the speed, so appears to be struggling to hold on while lying on his back on the missile
I'm a rocket ship, on my way to mars, on a collision course

Might of the Herd - When using it's ability, the missile appears to lose stability, and repeatedly hits the ground, bouncing back up for the duration.
Houston, we have a problem

Horned Strike - An extra blast of flame from the missile dips it forward at high speed, bouncing off the target
Was that me?

The Chains that Bind - He's a cowboy, so naturally, he throws a lasso around the target and attaches it to the rear fins.
(This could even be some kind of grappling hook effect from the rear, as if attached to a gun that fires the chains?)
Rocket Wranglin'

Attack animation would be relatively unchanged, he just uses a massive hammer instead. Note: Hammer should be much bigger than I drew it.
Death animation - Falls off backwards, missile flies off into the air. Explodes?

Overall theme of Rampage acting as if the missile was a rodeo bull would be good too, talking to it and such.
Fingers crossed on getting some interest!

My idea is for a megaman/samus skin for flint. The idea would basically be a cool, futuristic suit and an "arm cannon" like the mega buster. His regular attacks would be the mega buster and his ultimate would be like charging it up, the energy ball growing until releasing as a large blast.

Hollowpoint could be any sort of megaman powerup like sawblades or crash bombs or it could just be missiles like samus. The flare im not sure about but perhaps some sort of bomb.


The idea could easily be similar as an arm cannon and future suit cant be copyrighted as both megaman, samus, and other characters have them. Of course the closer it looks the better, but how close would need to be determined like ninja bubbles.

What would Myrlina look like?

Appearance:

- Light Blue/Turquoise coloured hair
- 3 eyes, 2 in the normal position and one on her forehead
- 2 tridents ( one in each hand), icy blue in colour, big jewel in the middle.
- Long elegant dress, white in colour.
- Skin colour, blue, maybe scaly?

Skill Animations:

Weed Field - Myrlina clashes her two tridents together to form the Weed Field.

Magic Carp - Summons it the same as Myrmidon, but with a more colourful Carp

Wave Form - Surges forward with chest out (yes bewbs). Also when this skill is used she is giggling or laughing mid flight.

Forced Evolution - Evolves into the same as Myrmidon's evolved version, but with more feminine features, long hair etc. Attacks mele with two tridents.

I accidently created a new thread with this suggestion because i misread the competition rules, so this is the real one! :)
