Should it lag with iMac i7 processor?!

Hey guys!

I recently tossed my PC away to just go Mac even with games.
Specifications:
iMac i7 Processor (quad-core 2,93ghz)
16GB Ram
1024GB ATI Radeon HD 5750

My problem is that it appears to lag.. even out of combat while standing in the fountain im lagging and it aint floating as good as with my old crap computer.. anyone experienced the same problem? please help me out here guys!!

You shouldn't lag no, but you won't get performance like you would from windows (good but not blazing)

is yr osx uptodate (10.6.6 is the most recent iirc)
does this occur in a practice server? spawn a load of stuff and use some ults

Yes it occurs in practice server.. And do you think it will lag less if I use bootcamp -> windows partition? thanks for ur answer
