MM and other issues

Hi

I'm having the weirdest problem. I have been playing HON for many months without problems until today. Few hours ago I finished a game and after it I could not see any stats of this game nor could I join a new game.
The problem is the following:



Most of the time I cant login
Sometimes I can connect but can only join pub games (no MM, no channels, cant see friends or get messages)
Rarely I can login and see MM (and friends, channels and everything) but when I try to join a MM game I disconnect

I have tried the following:


Reinstalled HON completely
Restarted my router
Updated video card drivers
Restored Windows to a date where Hon did work
Removed all mods

Non of the above seems to resolve the problem and I have read through the guide you give on the support wiki.

Sometimes I can ping masterserver or view it in browser and sometimes I can not. And I dont get any errors in console.

Well sometimes I get an "query not s_ok" line and that seems to be an issue for many people.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

It sounds like a firewall or connection problem. Ping is completely unrelated to HoN, so if you can see it sometimes and not others, so there's definitely something going on with your general internet connection. What sort of network are you on? Could someone have put filters on the network during certain hours?

It could be possible. I'm on a school network and am connect through a D-Link router. It seems that HoN is not the only application giving me problems as I cant join any online game nor access some websites.

So I guess this is a router- or internet service related.
