After loading of game pc freezes.

Hello,
Since 2 days, after everyone has picked a hero and loaded the game my screen turns purple. It is all blocky and my mouse is 1 big block. I can still move my mouse and hear the music in the background, but over about 10 sec my pc completly freezes and music stops (can still hear music from hon). I have tried to alt-tab and control-alt-del, but it doesnt respond. It just to work fine. I have also reinstalled it several times. First time it worked for 1 day but then i had the same problem. I have ran complete virus scan, dissabled anti-virus and closed all apps, but it didnt help.
I run windows 7 64x.
CPU intel i7 920.
Graphics card geforce gtx 280.

Can´t because my pc freezes, ill take a picture with a camera.
Btw it can also be other colors.

Any sort of picture would help. The way it looks can determine what is failing.

Well that sucks, but why did it work normally for a day?

Just now i tried to play a game and it worked, so dont think my video card is completly broken.

It's definitely your graphics card. A damaged monitor cable can cause a similar effect, but that won't freeze things and only happen with hon. Due to it sometimes working/sometimes breaking, my guess is that there's cracks in the solder that's causing a lose connection.
