Normal FPS?

Hi!

I´m running an 2010 iMac with 3.2 Ghz i3, 4 Gb ram, and an ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512 MB. (System spec file was to big to attach)
In big teamfights or if I´m watching a replay were there´s happening alot my fps often goes below 20, this is even if I put the resolution and graphics on the lowest possible.
Has this something to do with the 2.0 upgrade mabye? I didn´t play the game before it so I cant tell any difference. Because I guess my mac would run it decent on medium settings right?

Hi NiraMM,

Apologies for the delay in coming to your ticket. I had a look through your console log and I can't find any obvious errors, except that your graphics card does not have 512MB according to the log, but 256MB instead - this will obviously provide you with less performance than the 512.

There are a few things I'll get you to try, firstly can you check that your graphics drivers are up to date, and if not install the newest versions - then make sure your game is not playing in windowed mode, put it to full screen and exclusive and try that - if that still doesn't work can you try completely removing HoN (Including the folder in User/Application Support) and then reinstall.

Let me know how you get on, and if you still have issues, post a new console log from the new install, and provide your cpu temperatures and fan speeds.

I have tried the things you suggested already, but it doesn´t seem to help the fps. Tried a few seconds in practice mode and the fps drops from about 100 just in the beginning, to 30, and thats with only with a few creeps and heroes, no use of magics or anything.

The thing with the memory seem was strange, because I have 512 mb, unless the computer and apple is lying :)

Anyways, I´ll post a new consloelog if I get around to do it, have´t been playing that much recently!
