This issue as been around as long as the hero as been created.
Although the sentence is grammatically correct , it is miss leading and cause lots of confusion.
And I must admit that it's still annoying to have people , performing it wrong / whining about someone doing it wrong.
My suggestion would be to :
- Remove the sentence :
"Unit affected by chuck take double the damages"
And either :
- Change it to :
"Using chuck on a Unit affected by Stalagmite double its damages"
- Or add to Chuck description :
"Using chuck on a Unit affected by Stalagmite, doubles Stalagmites damages".
Making it more accurate in the way the combo works.
For those who might be doubting, here is a video proof :

And for the other , who knows how things works :

PS : I knows how things works and why both method can deal the same amount of damages , and that it's mostly a question of execution speed.
However it has been a long time consensus on the fact that Stun > Throw is easier to perform and can provide more damages the Throw > Stun if performed correctly and that's what this suggestion is about.
