View Full Version : [Gameplay] Early Concede Incentive

So... I like quick games. I like the idea of getting more games in a shorter amount of time. I (of course) really love a long great balanced game...

I like the idea of having the early win reward.

However I find its backfiring in games. Hon2.0 has added more less experienced players to the MM pool. Often this makes a 5v5 game swing drastically to one side or the other rather quickly. I am fine with all that... But now these new people don't care how long the inevitable loss is going to take and especially don't want to give the other team the satisfaction of early win coins (the only reason they joined mm was to get coins in the first place, not even to play a good game... which is what a lot of us who start a MM game are looking for).

So why not do this...

Up the early win reward from 2 to 3 coins...

And add an incentive to the losing team for conceding early... give them one coin.

This means if they are gracious in defeat and not troll like in attitude they would get 3 coins instead of 2.

You could reward other good behavior the same way you do wards... an extra coin if you die less then 1 or 2 times during a game?

This idea is just to promote good community play. Not increase coin farm drastically or make anyone mad.

Please don't make too much fun of me!!!

Not sure why you'd upgrade the win reward to 3 coins.

And an extra coin for losing fast sounds stupid, although I get the idea, it's just that it might give people incentive to concede earlier than they would have otherwise.

"Oh look, 24 ½ mins into the game and seems like we're losing, lets at least get that extra coin."

Also add a poll to your idea.

Otherwise I appreciate the idea, but I don't think it's practical.

sorry. first time w/ suggestion. i will add poll and repost.

btw. adding a coin is to separate the two rewards by more.
