Since the last update to 2.0.5 I've had a massive 5minuteish delay on the ingame chat (game lobby works ok though).
To top that up on the last game I played, at some point, I completely lost control of my character and it ended up standing and not doing anything. I quit the game hoping to have a chance to go on playing after I reconnect but I couldnt do that either :/

Here's the graphics part. Currently I have no info on the game lag since last time I ran hon it was to reconnect which failed and then I quit it. I'll have a game and post the new one if the problem persists.

BTW
Can I have a disconnect removed from my stats if it's due to a widespread bug like this (I've checked the Networking forum and there seems to be quite a few people experiencing the exact same problem) ?

The chat lag is still there all right.
Here's the promised console.log:

Again, no control over my character. I suggest you put some resources into that - it's the sort of a bug that makes you loose your customers.
Can I at least get some info if I can get the buggy disconnects removed from my stats ?

Here's a log of a game when character freezes. I have absolutely no control for the last minute of the game. Can't move, level skills, buy from shop or control courier. On top of it I think my chat messages never got to the server. With the chat lag I can eventually see them on the screen but since I lost contol I couldn't see any of them.

Do you have a router?
Does this occur in a practice server (different heroes and their ults)

as to removing the leave, email support@heroesofnewerth.com

No router, I have a direct connection with my own IP address. As far as I know a home grade router is incapable of introducing selective delay only on chat packets
This doesn't happen in a practice server. A chat lag on a local server would be quite a serious bug to miss before deploying a patch.
As for the different heroes and their ults I have no idea what you're talking about. There's no correlation between between heroes or their skill and the chat lag. The chat lag ia always there.
Although I must admit there was one game that it seemed to work fine for 2 mins or so. As for the loosing character contorl part - it happened to me 3 times so far - it's not much data to associate it with any particular hero.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I'm starting to think you're just shooting irrelevant questions at me to keep me occupied. There's at least a dozen similar cases in the nettwork support forum and probably another one in windows support. You have their logs and IP addresses. This should be enough to determine if it's one particular ISP to blame and flood with angry emails or server software problem. In the latter case just tell me you have a team working to debug it for the next patch. And I sure hope you do have someone working on it. But please don't give me irrelevant questions - I find it a bit disrespectful.

excuse me?
I am offering my help here for free, such condecending attitude won't be tolerated.

And fyi a home router *CAN* introduce selective delays on chat packets.
And why... Chat is via TCP (ie with checksum and all the other headers) and gamedata is via UDP.
THUS if there is a noisy line OR router/ISP doing some form of inspection/filtering the Chatserver packets are the 1st to go.

The reason the questions were ask about hero skills in a practice server was to aid in determining if it is a client-side or server-side issue.

well thats me done, you obviously know best and would prefer to troll
