Loginfailed, how to solve new node etc

I've heard that they've found that a node wer dead somewhere, which making some (read many) of us not being able to enter the game.

Is there something to do about this, or is it just a stated fact that We wont be able to play until the IT guru fixes it?

I don't have those 1337 H4Xx0r Skillz to do anything extraordinary, But if I get some help on the way i might pull it off, as if, as I said, there is something to do about it?

A dead node basically means a part of the internet broke. Most things usually work (unless everything goes through that node for you) as the internet is decentralized.
