So i started woking on it myself , so far everything goes good , managed to sharpen every ground texture and make it a bit more brighter/colorfull.It's late here , so i'll work on it tommorow and hopefully release it if people will ask for it. Here's some screenies ( took em in a bad place , but believe me , they are a LOT more sharper than they were before )

You made the terrain brighter... That's the last thing we need :/

is it bad to make it brighter ? oO
not like it matters in a game

It does matter. Keep it's lightness as dark as it was kthx.

I even see alot of people refusing to play this because it's so bright. The last thing you want is it being brighter, and at times even I have a bit of a hard time paying attention to a few heroes on the Legion side and hellbourne side (respectively certain heroes to certain sides).

You can still post it if you want, people can choose to use it or not if they want. I'd just like to see legion side screenshots too.

Couldn't you just do a batch resize? Like supersampled EDI to 2048x2048?

Here's my progress so far
Made each texture ( 41 total ) much more sharper , adjusted color of each texture ( as some asked , made em more darker ) , made them more colorfull .
No glitches were found.

I'm not trying to be mean, but honestly, you've made them much, much worse. You've gone in the wrong direction, entirely. In the quest for "sharper" graphics, you've altered the art so much that it just plain looks bad.

I'm all for High Res Textures, but that is something that would be done from adding MORE detail not taking it away with texture filtering and simply photoshop-like filters.

If you really want to make the textures better, I'd say bite the bullet, start from scratch, expand all the textures to a larger size and then fill in the details to make them higher res.

Even if you do that, a lot of the issue is with the lack of what I like to call "layers", and this is something that S2 would have to do...

don't know why you find them bad , but IMO they are really better than the original , just try it youtself , download them and see it ingame . As for making them from the scratch - can't do that , theres like 3 files for each texture ( the texture itself , bump map and no idea what the 3rd does ) and except the first one , the other two are are not in my power :(

They're too grainy. That's the biggest problem... They just look incredibly worse. And btw, your item build is quite possibly the worst one ever.

What they look like is if he opened them in photoshop and hit the sharpen filter

And I'm probably not too far off saying that.

If you want high quality textures, they need to be in a higher resolution.
