Hey all,
As we know, the editor itself has some pretty horrid interface choices (For example, the tiny dropdown menu for model selection), so I'd like to propose some changes to make things a little more user-friendly.
- First change is for mass tree creation. This works like the terrain painting tool, allowing a radius of variable size to be used to place trees. The primary/secondary tree type, and the density they use, can be used to create variation when mass-producing trees, rather than the bland all-the-same that occurs.

-Second change suggestion is a proper model browser, whilst I have nothing against dropdowns, things can get rather frustrating. Something that provides either a 2d picture for quick browsing (à la your windows folder browser):

or something that provides an interactive, on-the-fly look at the model:

Notice that both contain some quick filter options just to make life that little bit easier.
Some of you may have seen me post these in a thread under general, but I wanted to get them here, in the proper section of the forum.
Cheers!
