I was discussing smackdowns with my friend Transfat earlier today and how he was (what he thought) two away from an extra gold. i said lolwut? and found out he actually had seven to go. but that got me thinking, 10 smackdowns for 1 extra gold? that doesnt exactly seem right. that is extremely minuscule. so if you had 1000 smackdowns you would only get 100 extra gold.
I dont know if this is how it works right now (since i dont have any smackdowns atm) but i am suggesting that once you reach 10 smackdowns you should get an extra gold every MM match that you WIN. not just 1 coin every ten smackdowns.
ive come up with a small chart for the ammount of gold per match you would get for the ammount of smackdowns you have:
10 smackdowns = 1 gold extra per match
50 smackdowns = 2 gold extra per match
100 smackdowns = 3 gold extra per match
250 smackdowns = 4 gold extra per match
500 smackdowns = 5 gold extra per match
and so on.
the numbers can be twinked but you get the general idea.
this would promote:
A: people buying taunt from the shop
B: more games played for more gold
C: actually buying coins to purchase taunt quicker
D: buying more items from the shop with bonus gold
E: more smackdowns
Now people will probably try to farm smackdowns for this, but a simple solution is how this works. in order to get the bonus gold you need to actually work as a team and win your match for your reward.
TLDR: # or smackdowns should determine how much EXTRA gold you get per match (win). not just 1 gold every 10 smackdowns.
