Fog of war not working

Ever since 2.0.2 or so (noticed in my first matchmaking game) the fog has not worked (fglrx 12.10). I have no mods enabled.

Is there any other information needed?

Could you switch to windowed mode.
ATi drivers are known to be ... bad. Switching modes help jog the drivers to act correctly

I'm afraid switching between windowed and fullscreen did not change anything.
