I know there are alot of fun things you can do with Succubus's Mez, like sleeping yourself when arachna ults to put the magic immune spider to sleep. Does this trick work however against things like the shrunken head or hero abilities that grant the hero magic immunity? At work or else I would test myself. Any thoughts?

The spider is supposed to be magic immume. So if it works on the spider it will prolly work on ppl with shrunken head.

No he means cast it on yourself (as succubus) the spider will stop attacking.

Utred read it correctly. Functionally, because you cannot cast mez on the spider, casting it on yourself is a cheap way of casting it on the spider because the spider continues to attack. So he is saying, if this effectively works on the spider, it should work on other heros, assuming someone is dumb enough to attack you after you've mezzed yourself.

This just happened to me in a match today...the spider sat there seemingly waiting to start attacking again...
However when the skill wore off of me I continued running and noticed the spider remained in place doing nothing...
So unless it's different when you cast it upon your self, the spider will not attack you with it on, but apparently will get bugged and not attack. (Might not always bug, not sure, it's only happened to me once)

if some1 is about to stun to kill ur allie or cast a spell if u cant mez on them while the spell is flying through the air ur allie will take no damage and stay asleep. this only works if u cant is on him why its during the air otherise he will wake up and take damage

Comfirming the Spiderling bug, happened to me yesterday as well. Mez on the target of the Spiderling will permanently bug it, causing it to remain in place and do nothing until duration wears off, even if Mez fades from its target.

Isn't the duration of sleep longer than the lifespan of the spider? Are you sure this is a "bug"? Keep in mind that you'll likely have a few levels into sleep by the time a spider ult is on you, and you have to factor the reaction time between the spider being cast and you sleeping yourself against the spider's base lifespan. I've only played Arachna a handful of times but I thought the ult was just a few "ticks" of spider damage.

Taking 20 true damage a second for ~7 seconds is much better than a Spider digging into you (of which you wont ever escape anyhow) for over 100.

The spider is a bug, yes. Tested and confirmed I asked Animal Planet.

The max sleep is 7 seconds. The spider lasts for 10 - 15 seconds? Anyways, slept myself last night, spider bugged out, Arachna attacked and put himself to sleep which through the 20dmg a tick killed him as my initial Ult had already gotten low. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

if a the spiderling's target becomes invulnerable for any period of time whatsoever the spiderling gives up
mesmerize has a brief invulnerability attached to it
magmus' lava surge has one
chronos' time walk
theres probably more
