LAG all the time

Hey Guys,

I just bought this I3 model of the Imac, and i am expirencing a wired hon..
I have tryed to run HON in all kind of settings from the lowest to the highest graphic settings, but i have the same result.

When i play the game i have lags, approx 0.3 sec lag pr. 3 sec of game and it is so annoying. At the same time i feel the game is very heavy.. it is hard to explayn because it runs smoothly graphicwyse but still it doesent feel right.... The problems acoures in spawn and in teamfights at the same level.

To test my graphic card i ran CSS in pretty high settings with no problem at all and no lags.

I have a 14 Mbits internetconnection up/down so i doubt it is the problem.


I3 model.:

I dont have the problem when i create a pratice game at all..so it is not the graphic card that is the problem. but i did notice when i spawned a hero character it lagged a bit every time i spawned a different hero. after the first spawn no problems appeared. hmm..

I have tried to open all ports on my router but this have no effect what so ever...

does mac have a hidden firewall as i checked the one installed and it is turned off.

I tried to reinstall the game a lot of times. through places/"me"/library/application support/HON i have put it in the trash and emptied the can... no result.

I have tried to logon another wireless network 2 mbits up/down. same result.

What bothers me more is that i run the game without any lags in praticemode....

I tried to install windows via boot camp and install hon, got it up and running.. same problem..

Is it maby some of the hardware???

This test varies a lot from 8% to 0%

I did the ping test on my laptop on the same cable to the same router packet loss 0% at every ping test i ran.

Might be some setup with the Ethernet.?...

Packet loss is something your ISP will have to fix. It's most likely a problem with the cables going from the local hub to your modem.

Ok, I will buy a new router tomorrow as my pc has no problem. I have talked to apple support and they say my mac cant use the router i have npw for the maximum performance therefore the packetloss.
