Hey, for about 2 weeks ago, after the 2.0 patch game my screen has been acting up when i play HoN, In the start it goes all smooth and around 1 minute mark the screen changes colours making it look like someone has hit the screen and crushed it, this problem only accurse when i'm playing hon and the after affects i get from this is Blue screen of death and generally my whole screen gets F***** for a while but later fixes it self for some time, after the screen looks like it's been smashed it just turns it self off, and if i pull our the cable the colours are just fine, i've checked my latest graphic card drivers and they are all up to date.. so curious if you guys maybe know what's causing this problem. :madm:

It's not that type of bug. He's getting memory corruption on his video card or bus errors. It's purely a physical thing, and can be caused by overheating, overclocking, overvolting, or the hardware failing.

i get more than one from these

here are some :

the half life lost coast thing

The red dots only that they are blue or white depending on where they arrive

but the one i mostly get ingame is the "bus effect" and that half life bug, combined

And when i get them for some reason it sends the computer to a forced state of "wait mode"- or something

Are you overclocking your video card and are the drivers up to date? Also, use a program such as SpeedFan to check your GPU temperatures.

Not overclocking my video card and the drivers are up to date, I'm using ATI's temprature seeker, when i'm gonna play i have to overclock the fans to 50% to keep an avarage temprature of 71-78 *C but it might Damage my fan over time, usually i would have fan % at 30-40
but now forced to have 50 or above to have that temprature the graphic is : ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 (x2)
Lately though with the "fan-overclock" i haven't gotten any of the graphic bugs but it might damage my hardware:/

Yeah, either the capacitors are failing or there are micro cracks occurring in the solder (which can happen if it's using lead free solder). Both of those lower the maximum temperature at which the card is stable.

First, see if the card is under warranty, and if so, RMA it.

Second, confirm that it's a hardware error and it isn't caused by dust by using an air duster on it and if you can, trying it in another computer.

If all else fails and you've given up on getting the card working, bake it in the oven (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1421792). I'm serious. It voids the warranty, of course, but you can repair broken solder connections this way. Components are actually mounted on the boards this way (at a higher temperature) so it's not as insane as it looks at first glance.
