There is an existing tower defense here (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=76241&highlight=Elemental), there is also two other custom maps in my signature.
Those maps were created a long time before the release of the editor, so the terrain is not at is best, and we were limited with scripting.
