Hi there!
Just right at the screen with the white bar on black background.
I've reinstalled the game from scratch (even on the different drive) and deleted all mods.
Clonsole log and crash dump: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ghqulhgki4ef22r/console.log
http://www.mediafire.com/file/m185li8oi9t9xps/crash_2.0.0.0_0001.dmp
Please help meh :balp:
Edit: I posted this issue here, because for some reason i can't reply on this thread http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=193220
I didn't wanted to create a duplicate thread. Nevertheless, my issue is the same.

Read the wiki page about what to post and it will tell you why you can't post replies.
Here's what's happening:
Found an invalid signature while searching for central directory
Failed to create archive
It sounds like one of the update files is corrupted. You can try deleting the Update directory in the program files\HoN location. If that doesn't work, do a http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/wiki/index.php/Complete_Reinstall.

Mmm nope, tried both things.. twice. And it seems that everyone on the parallel threads have the same exact problem, so, i'm afraid, the problem's not on our side :( It makes me think, that, if we (the people with this problem) manage to get the resources0.s2z update file (that's the one with the wrong checksum and probably the one which causes the crash) from the people that managed to update the game properly - the problem would be solved.

Could you upload /update/game/resources0.s2z/checksums so I can compare it?

The wiki upload tool is disabled.. for me at least, so sorry for using 3rd party uploader :D
I've been checking all the threads every minute, thank You for showing up :)

Hmm. It wasn't that file that was bad (even though that's the one that it was complaining about).
When you reinstalled, did you delete the program files\hon directory?

I did the clean reinstal, as in: deleted everything, including the folder in "My Documents", and installed again with a fresh-downloaded client installer.

Ok here goes new log and dump file http://www.mediafire.com/file/2drxejhojoc229q/crash_2.0.0.0_0002.dmp

I'm starting to wonder what was so special about the lucky ones, which went through the update successfully..

Well i just went and downloaded the standalone installer of 2.0.2.0 and... it worked! Thanks for uploading it.
But i hope that 2 days of "investigation" were not spent in vain, i'd still like to know what caused the problem.

My guess is one of the servers in the CDN (content distribution network) had a corrupt file on it. You weren't the only person getting this error. It happens from time to time, and in this case I couldn't tell which one was bad.

Well, when 2.0.3 was released i knew it'll happen again and it did. At first i was all like ":(", but then i've read this http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=196215 , downloaded a closed beta client (0.1.61) and hey, it worked! How about sticking this up?
And THANKS a lot for letting Russians use the shop!

Well, it keeps happening with every patch released. Every time i have re-install from scratch.
This time i'll try to follow a friend's advice to install in the default directory (C:\path), i'll see if it works when the next patch will come up. I also hope that problem will be solved with the next patch :)
