Hello, I have a Radeon 4650 graphics card with 2gb of Ram. My processor runs at 2.3GHz and I also run windows 7 with a 64 bit operating system. The problem is character and creep lag when I play the game. After a lot of trouble shooting I figured out that it is my Junkie onboard sound card. I disabled it on my device manager and the game now runs smooth as silk, but obviously no sound at all. When I re-enabled the sound device the character lag started back up. I am 99% certain this is my main problem. Would getting an after market 5.1 sound card fix this problem?

Hi,

I obviously can't promise anything, but I have never experienced such an issue, so it must be quite rare, and as such buying a different sound card should fix the problem, yes.

Are there any changes in hard drive usage activity?

I apologize, but I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to computer. Where would I check to see if there any changes in hard drive usage?

There's usually a light on your case that turns on when there's hard drive activity. It should have an icon of a cylinder next to it.

Could you read http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/wiki/index.php/Identifying_Lag_Type and tell me your average ping and fps?

Does this happen in practice mode?
