FPS Lag and Blackscreen(sometimes)

Dear S2.

Some months ago I started to get FPS lag in teambattles or outside teambattles. It is very annoying and very hard to play with 5 FPS when playing HoN.

Here is my specs:

Laptop
Windows Vista - Home Premium [ SP 2 ] [ 32-bit ]
RAM - 2GB
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz
NVDIA GeForce 8600M GT
My Laptop isn't overheated.

I don't know if there is something here that you can use.

You didn't play a game during that console.log (it gets overwritten each time HoN starts), so I can't be sure, but it looks like you've got some UI mods. UI mods can easily cause performance issues.

The black screens are due to an nvidia driver bug. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.

2.0GHz is just barely at the requirements to run HoN well, and could be the bottleneck. What is your cpu usage like when in game?

Also, you may have some thrashing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrashing_%28computer_science%29) going on with only 2GB ram. Are you getting a lot of hard drive activity when lagging?

Hello thank you for your response. Well I have run HoN on full graphics before without any lag or crash. I don't know if u have improved your graphics since Beta.

Could you answer:
Do you have any UI mods?

What is your cpu usage like in game?

Do you lag in practice games?

What ping/fps results do you get (just estimate).

Please remove all mods, and then tell us, do the problems remain?

1. I disabled all mods now and it still doesn't work.

2. My CPU usage is around 50 - 80 % (In practice games)
and my RAM Usage was 1.85 - 1.95 out of 2.00 (Also in practice games)

3. No I don't.

4. I don't know about the ping but the FPS is maybe around 5(it is different)

A little before the beta i had no problems with FPS lag. I was running on high graphics as i do now. Well, now you might ask how much internet speed I have. Download: 10mbit and upload: 1mbit. So that might be enough :) My router is a D-Link Dir-655. I am running with a security package atm. maybe it blocks something I don't know.

I just want to confirm I'm attributing the number to the question correctly: You don't lag in practice games?

Could you go into your console and enter:
host_drawfps 1
Then start a game. That shows your fps in the top right of the screen. Make sure it's your fps that's suffering and not ping.
