pebbles stagmite/chuck question

so pebbles with a portal key is able to blink in next to an enemy and chuck him into your teammates for an easy gank.

I'm wondering if there's a way to do this "swap" without having to give up the bonus damage from a stagmite/chuck combo. is there a way?

Not sure what you are asking... but I am assuming you want a different way to try to get up to a hero and gank them using the stag/chuck combo.

Easy, it's just like normal ava toss but you target something else.

but since they dont land in the AoE of stalagmites shouldn't they only get damaged once?

Since .41 patch, does Pebbles ultimate work fully with his Stag-Chuck combo now?
Also, I could not find a precise thread explaining the mechanics behind Stag (double damage) - Chuck combo. It is obviously different from the DotA one.

It seems to be working for me, and I haven't noticed any "missed" chucks yet, but that might be the placebo effect and luck. The attack speed is definitely working, however.

The whole point of the ava toss combo is the ava, toss to ally dealing massive damage, and let your ally finish him off.
It works fine now, pebbles is all fixed, but i think his ulti just sucks too much.

I thought units took double damage from Stalagmites only if they've been Chucked, not the other way around?

^ That is correct. Stalagmite someone, then chuck them to your team and they will take double damage.
