View Full Version : When's the ideal time to stack creeps? Also, triple stacking?

So I'd like to think of myself as a fairly decent player, but nothing special. One area I'd like to improve in is my ricing, and I don't think I take enough advantage of neutrals. Now, I understand the concept of stacking, but I'm not sure how to optimally do it, or how to triple stack, and as a result I really only stack Ancients, and that's if the creep waves are pushed out pretty far and the forest is pretty empty, or I bother with a Whispering Helm.

Is it worth stacking the forest as a carry or semi-carry? Isn't it faster to just kill everything and return when it respawns?

Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone could look at my replays and provide any feedback,

As a carry or semi-carry you ought to stack when it's feasible, don't go there JUST to stack, if you happen to be near the spawn sure just stack em. But the real point is for your babysitter to stack the forest and then you clear it up.

Also the optimal time is about x:52-55, I usually pull at 53 and it works like a charm.

When triple stacking you might want to pull the first camp a bit earlier so you have time to stack all of the camp, also ranged nukes that can be targeted on the ground help with that (like glacius' blast thingy).

You might want to check jungling guides from here and youtube has some fine videos of triple stacking and for jungling / stacking.

It's the supports job to stack therefore it's impossible to do in pubs. Get a friend and play support to work on stacking.

Stack at 51-52 seconds before every minute whenever possible, it's always worth it.. Unless the enemy eats them before you or your teammates do.

Creeps spawn at every minute interval ie: 2:00, 3:00. They only spawn if there are no creeps or corpses in their spawn area.

Be wary of the purge creeps though, they might take a little more time to completely pull out of the camp.

If the clock is ~xx:44 or something, then it might be worht waiting 10 secs in order to stack the camp (better is you doublestack). Or you could lure the neutrals outside the camp radius, and kill them there (avoid any corpses or units in the camp radius) when you're done a new spawn should be in the camp.

You should really stack whenever you pass by and the clock is right. As a supporter you should keep this more in mind than as any other role.

well as carry, u mostly want the supporters to stack and you to gather them, only soulstealer would be able to fast triplestack and gather them.

Im guessing your talking about doing a real triple pull (pulling 3 camps at once) and not talking about stacking up to 3 camps. Cuz it seems alot of ppl missed that or arnt aware of a true triple pull and therefore are confused.

For triple pull (3 camps) its at the 49 sec mark. Its critical you hit it on the spot or you will only get a double pull, In this pull there is no leniancy that you normally get with doing a double pull or just doing a lane pull, you have to hit on time period. Also it only works on legion side. On hellbourne you can only do a double pull two camps. Unless you got a long range land nuke such as pharoh or behmoth.

Also with pharoh you can actually stack w/ ur nuke from far away bey aggroing with your nuke but you have to hit it at a certain spot and time.


Also for triple pull you gotta aggro with either a hatchet, land aoe nuke, or certain spots on the tree will let u aggro as well. However the last one is a little bit trickier, as somtimes its wont aggro and since there is fog you cant tell if you did it right or not till you see the camp.

I advise using hatchet method, as a carry you should havfe it anyways, and it makes doing a triple pull easy.

As a carry being able to triple pull and double pull increases your farm drastically and it keeps you away from being visible to enemy which prevents ganks and also the "out of sight out of mind" can come into play.
