I have taken the liberty to edit the language files for the game.
It would be really nice if I could get feedback from users with what every hero should be called and whether
it should be no "inside" jokes.

A few questions:
ÅÄÖ is not supported in client_messages, fix?

Otherwise:
Wish me luck!

YOU come with suggestions:
* Hero names
* Item names
* Inside jokes.
* Other ...

This thread has been created due to the other "Swedish"-thread has been down and I have not gotten any replies at all or any status-updates.

I'll add those I have any sort of suggestion for (don't know if they should be in definite form or not)
Sandwraith - Sandvålnad(en)
Blacksmith - Grovsmed(en)
Kraken - Kraken (called the same, after all)
The Gladiator - Gladiatoren
Pharaoh - Farao
Witch Slayer - Häxdräpare(n)
Puppet Master - Marionettmästare(n) (använd iallafall marionett och inte docka, dock kan det finnas bättre ord än mästare)
Succubus - Succubus (just like Kraken, called the same thing in Swedish too)
Ophelia - Ofelia (if I recall correctly, Ophelia/Ofelia(swedish) was a character in Romeo & Juliet)
Behemoth - Koloss(en)
Pebbles - Lillen (Tiny can be used to translate easier)
Hammerstorm - Tor (To me it seems, Hammerstorm is a depiction of Thor (Tor in Swedish)
Torturer - Plågoande(n)
Scout - Anything but "Scout"
Predator - Rovdjur(et) (translation like this worked for the movie, so...)

Protip: http://www.tyda.se/ for translations of words (to get inspiration, suggested to not just directly translate it :p)
I admit I used some direct translations and that I got most of the names from there, but meh.

Hope I helped a bit. ^^ GLHF

Edit: Feel free to PM if you need some help with translating. (It seems you'll have a problem with the quantity of translations rather than the difficulty). Btw, if there are a known "inside joke" in Sweden it's okay, but not if it's one from your/a replier's acquaintance.

Questions:
* Items keep same name but translated description?
* Items totally translated.
* Murre, thank you for offering to help. Is there anyone out there?

Maybe keep the names on the heroes after all, since it'll be easy to mix them up. I mean, you don't really have to know what the names mean to be able to play. :p Magina, Rylai and Kunkka isn't really making a translation pop up in my head, even though they have hero names too, these are the commonly used name for them.

I'm neutral to the question of items being translated. It'd be good to keep the names as they are since it'd avoid confusion, it's already a bit of a pain to keep track of DotA + HoN terms. On the other hand, some people may not understand the purpose of the item, I don't know really.

Btw, I'm nothing but happy to help. ^^

Just translate the interface things. Don't translate the heroes and the items name its sounds gay with swedish translation. =)

This was how it originally looked.

*All messages and alerts were COMPLETELY translated.
*All of the descriptions for heroes, items, skills, abilities etc were translated.
*No names were translated, no item names, no hero names, no skill names.
*All tags were kept.

That's how I'd like it. And if anyone has them, I'd like the files so I can continue up the work on this.
