We were hoping to get 32 teams in our 2nd tournament, but it seams that we will have to leave that big tourney for some other time. 17 teams have singed up for the tournament, so that means that only two teams will be playing the first round, others are automatically in the second round. Without further ado here are the brackets:

Having to list everyone's PSR and the AVG team PSR is kind of annoying and you should just seed teams based on previous tournament results. Also both bans and picks should be done in the lobby since that alternating picks option randomly assigns who gets to pick first. Teams strategically ban based off whether or not they get first pick or second pick and having it randomly decided ruins this. Just have the higher seeded team get to decide pick order.

I dunno, in the last tournament there were few or zero "upsets" based on the team's PSR seedings. So PSR == Skill!!!!!111 lolroflolol

In all seriousness, I kind of agree that it would be nice to do something other than PSR for the seeds. PSR is nice in the absence of any other data, but sooner or later, seeding is going to have to start being based off of tournament performances (maybe not just THIS tournament but tournaments in general). Otherwise, maybe we should just go farm PSR off some dummy accounts up to 3000. :)

I'm not saying this to try and benefit my team, either. I'm sure our PSR seed will be just fine. I'm just saying at some point it would be wise if tournaments don't rely on PSR, and the sooner the better.

If we get a lot of teams in our tourney we would be able to get sponsors for the next one, so we would have prizes and you wouldn't have to play anything.

Indeed. Next to that, it is quite hard to get prizes for games that are still in beta. Its also a shame that there isn't a spectator mode yet, which eliminates the possibility to broadcast games.

If I remember correctly for your team is 143, so xSai (http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showuser=133713) should contact Typhooni (http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showuser=134000) from MGC.
