If madman has attack cooldown, and is in range of his target (as in literally does not have to move AT ALL) as he just finished his barrel roll, his next attack animation will not play. I believe the attack still counts though so it's only visual.

He's saying the next auto-attack doesn't display after a barrel roll.
I sort of remember having this issue once, but meh, target got damage.

Get a madman and any other hero in practice mode.
get the two heroes right up against each other.
cast barrel roll, it happens no matter if you do a 100 unit roll or a 600 one.

as soon as the barrel roll finishes madman attacks the hero, but doesn't do the animation. Most likely because he barrel roll animation isn't entirely finished yet.
Easiest way to tell if madman is doing the attack is get 6 halberd's/savemace's so that the chance of 1 proc'ing is very high, then +100/40 will show as normal.
