Breakycpk + HenryD = ?

Breakycpk and HenryD is a good castcombination. High quality casting and indepth. But... I have recently realised that many times it seems like Breakycpk is repeatedly ignoring HenryD when he does his indepth "competitive experience" talk.
Every time HenryD has a point to make, Breakycpk click on follow on a hero and don't really make any comment on anything that HenryD has to say except maybe "Agreed" or "Okay" (when Henry has a point to make himself, not when Breakycpk asks him about something). I get quite annoyed by this, mostly because HenryD has many valid points to make which it feels like Breakycpk disregards. Also, for me, this behavior creates some kind of embarrassing touch that gives me the feeling that Breakycpk is frustrated about HenryD intrerrupting the gameflow or not making sense for the viewers.

Anyone else who has noticed this aswell?

Well it wouldn't hurt to show that Breaky is listening and cares about what HenryD says instead of creating a feeling that HenryDs comments are out of place :)

Haven't watched a cast for quite some time but I've found that whenever Breaky does respond to Henrys input, it usually would make no sense. Simply put, Breaky does not really understand how HoN works. His knowledge does not come from deduction and game analysis. He knows that which he has seen other players do, but that's it.

i think he gets pissed at HenryD sometimes but i dont think he purposely disregards his comments. he always asks Henry for his opinion on specific choices and events all the time in each game

Dude, HENRYD IS THE MAN. I don't get how anyone can complain about him, dude is so legit. ON THE OTHER HAND, xander (zndr in disquise) is a joke, and his faux relaxed demeanor is so annoying and transparent. Henry has taught me a lot about game play and things that I just wouldn't see / understand if I were to watch the replays without commentary. Breaky makes it feel like I'm watching a sports event. :)

I agree with some of you, and yeah, it sometimes feels like breaky just /ignore henryD when he's trying to say smth. And yes, it does feel kinda awkward some of the time but mostly it's just cuz henryD can be a douche.

At first I didn't like that guy AT ALL but as some of you says - he's often got some valid points and truly makes the casting better. I think they're a great combo with Phil. :)

Breaky has no clue what he's talking about 90% of the time which forces him to ignore his comments as he has no idea how to reply to them. For example, look at his SC2 casts; he has no clue whatsoever about whats going on and just keeps talking about absolutely nothing. Henry has his facts straight most of the time. The only stupid thing I've heard him complain about recently was when n0tail was playing gauntlet and he said he wasn't farming enough with 260 gpm, and that most gankers make that mistake.

Disregarding that though, and back on topic:
Breaky often DOES respond to henry, but he covers himself beforehand or afterwards. He will say something like: "but I mean I definitely see your point / but I definitely agree with you" after he tentatively lets his own opinion shine through.
I don't know whether he does it because he doesn't know enough about the game or because he just doesn't want to get into an argument with henry on stream, because he knows henry will never admit defeat and will just keep rattling on. (I'll say this though, the times I agreed with breaky over henry can be counted on 2 fingers.)

you don't talk enough, and when you do, you don't spend the majority of your time really analyzing the game. if you were more luminous-esque and you talked more, you'd be solid.

Which makes it entertaining commentary, especially since you get to see That Game whether or not he was right.

You have to realise though that henry is the only pro hon gamer who is dedicated to casting regularly and I think he deserves respect for that rather than snide remarks from players who contribute a lot less to the community.

Anyway on topic. I find henry to be the only good caster that HoNcast has ever had. He knows, to some degree, what he is talking about and makes valid points aside from breaky who sometimes just shouts out what he thinks happened. I.E. "And the :valk: ultimate saved :souls: from death right there!" While :valk: is still level 5 and :souls: had invis bottled for 1min, and breaky had the camera on :souls: for 30sec.
Tbh Breaky should start to play a bit more.

And henry needs to speak up a lot more.

I think HenryD offers a good contrast to Breaky. I don't think you need much more. And to Kitty, watching the commentaries is more for those lower players who can then understand the game a certain way and then when they get better (hopefully) they'll be able to make their own decisions.

I believe higher players don't rely on commentary and watch replays instead but I could be wrong.

I agree, infact this sometimes makes me stop watching or not want to watch in the first place because I look and see Breaky and HenryD and think "Oh great, I ain't gonna be able to hear this properly or be deafend when I turn it up to hear Henry"

Other then that Breakycpk might not have the best knowledge of the game but that's what the competitive insight is there for, Breakycpk makes the commentry exciting to listen to as he really gets into it and gets excited himself.

So HenryD speak up, Breaky keep up the good work.

I've been watching Honcasts for a while now and have to say I really enjoy them, especially with Breaky and Phil. This is no disrespect intended to HenryD, but he's the opposite of the other two.

So what if Breaky doesn't know the stuff past 1700 PSR, he's funny and makes me laugh and keeps the games interesting. Although I respect HenryD's views and his knowledge, by christ it's boring to listen to. It's probably why Breaky doesn't say much after, he's just about stayed awake.

HenryD, stop coming across asif you're about to slit your wrists, or drown your sorrows with a bottle of Glenn Fiddich.

You need some juxtaposition in the personalities of the casters if you have a non-solocast. HenryD is able to do that, very effectively.

I do also like Phil and the recent casts with Tobi, it's nice to hear a variety.
