Before you even read this: This is a Pacific West Time Zone based agenda, however if you are an international player who is willing to put up with latency issues I'm all for it provided you are compatible with me.
***NOTE*** (edit) I'm now just searching for players to form a competitive team/clan. I'm looking for excellent players with high standards and open minds. Looking for those who always seek improvement.
Recruitment : OPEN
Hello,
Background Information:
Note: The reason why I provide such an unnecessarily extensive summary of my background is to ensure the reader of my experience and also so I may stand out among the many who frequently make claims of LFT or LFM [HIGH].
I am Brian Lee aka FLUFFNSTUFF. I've had this name since battle.net and all throughout Garena. I've been playing for 4 years and I have a lot of competitive experience. I devoted a year of my life to North American DotA, playing scrims exclusively over pubs and inhouses. Our team flourished but we had 2 rotten apples that brought the whole thing down. Our major achievement to speak of was our 2-0 victory over Australia's MCiTY in a large tournament. I switched over to HoN after my leader, Finalworld of D4L, had to confront many real life issues. So Hannah_montana and I decided to play HoN.
I began playing with TLShadow, Jah`, Ruffian, and Toekneebubs(aka Hannah_ Montana) and we tried to form a team, For many reasons it didn't work out so we eventually disbanded. In that time, however, we had some close matches (down to the rax) with the older version of EMPR gaming. I continued to play with Jah` and Toekneebubs and we had some success in the Honcast, Neva and Gamereplays tournaments, but we were still new and adjusting. Eventually we recruited a solid group of guys however their egos were a lot to deal with. We eventually disbanded on the basis of players disliking the others and since then I had quit playing competitively, for the time being. After many months my account: FLUFFNSTUFF still remains 1850 and I haven't really played on it much. You'll usually find me playing on FLUFFNSTUFF` in pubs alongside my friends who are not very good. I deeply believe that I am a world class player and that I have so much to offer any team or teammates willing to progress with me to share the experiences of doing something we love. That's right I really enjoy DotA and HoN, both games are second-to-none in the grand scheme of things. I know this sounds extremely ****ing gay and nerdy, but I am, truly, passionate about these types of games and their development as an e-sport.
My Philosophy: I believe that HoN is a very viable e-sport, however (for the Americans at least) the scene has become very nasty and infested by inhouse junkies and egotistic pricks. Just as how North American DotA fell apart, manners, etiquette, support, and a general sense of community would help shapen the scene into something great. Something that we, a small competitive community, can learn to embrace. We must take full advantage of the opportunities here in HoN that DotA could never present (due to Blizzard being lackadaisical and greedy), which is a license of its own and the rights to hold larger tournaments, giving greater incentive to the players to achieve. I don't want to lecture anybody, however, do not and, again, DO NOT take what we have here for granted. Coming from a DotA veteran, the community needs to step it up and create lasting bonds and friendships that'll overshadow the negative and stick together to thick and thin. That, ladies and gentlemen, is my contention and philosophy for HoN.
What I'm Looking For?
-Not only skilled, but also actively intelligent players. (meaning you are there ready to watch replays and analyze them critically whether it be by yourself or with the team)
-Looking to start a team with excellent standards and cooperation.
-On the flip side, I'm looking to create a dedicated team that will surely come out amongst the top in the international scene.
-I'm not looking for people with large ego's
-I'm looking for an environment of 1)Dedication 2) Friendship and trust 3)Overall great skill and 4)collaboration (importance in that order)
-Be a vocal player
Note: I'd like to reach out to players that I've played with or against in the past. Players from the dying North American DotA scene, friends from HoN, and old teammates. Just make sure you come in the with the correct attitude and comply with the aforementioned points.
Oh yes...
-Age is not an issue so long as you don't sound like a girl and you are a boy (pet peeve)
-PSR doesn't matter much to me, however your stats and averages of psr should reflect you as a player.
-MUST have ventrilo/skype (trying to figure out which is better atm)
-MUST have a working microphone of quality (meaning that it wont break consistently throughout our time working with each other)
-MUST have or make time to play scrims daily and more so on the weekends.
-Again, I could go on and on... Everything that I expect out of my teammates, I expect out of myself. However this is not an ideal world and I accept that many players will be hit/miss on some of these points. Therefore, I submit that whoever it is reading this abide very closely with my terms but also be open for a compromise if given a suitable reasons.
