His other skills are too awesome... but yeah it should do a lot more damage. It's is great to finish people off who tower dive though :)

You have to remember that it nukes beyond the puppet's life. The puppet may have 400 HP and translate that into whateveritis to the hero. However if you get the puppet redline and then, say, codex it, the damage doesn't stop at the puppet's HP pool. It will do the 'surplus' damage from the codex. If you paired up with a Pyro who had rank 3 ult and Staff of the Master that is an unholy nuke.

I wonder...if you get it low on health, and then use the legionaire's (axe's) ult on it...will it insta kill the victim, or just transfer the damage done by it?

I was actually just wondering this and realizing I need to test this later. I'll probably test this tonight. If anyone wants to beat me to it please do and post the results.

ok...its still not good enough to be an ult. id MUCH rather have a skill like decripify than that, and puppet doesnt even have nukes to supplement it. itd be alright if it dealt pure damage rather than magic. you better have a strong ass skillset if ur a paper int hero with mediocre disables and mediocre dps.

That reminds me. I once mind controlled an enemy Scout and made him attack his teammate. He got a crit and killed him. The kill and the gold were awarded not to me, but to the Scout who slaughtered his teammate. :(

Just goes to show what kind of a hero scout is!

The skill specifically says it cannot cause a killing blow - so you probably saw a creep get the final kill hence the award not on you - but Scout would've got the assist :D

I was very drunk at the time but I have witnesses that will corroborate my story. Also I can just go test it tonight.

A puppetshowed target will attack the doll, correct?

I have tested killing blows with it; im not trying to call you out- I still think its a hilarious and awesome skill, and i've seen it do awesome things:

I saw a guy with cleave almost kill a whole team of friendlies for example :P

They must have changed the ability then, if it can no longer cause killing blows. I can confirm that it is/was possible to kill with it, as I mind controlled a transformed, well-fed Warbeast and he killed his allied Pyro in a couple hits, "DENIED!" text appeared like when you deny creeps, and it announced that he killed his teammate.

Btw, I had a game where I used puppet on a low hp target and his team mate attacked it, killing him, I got the kill for it. Dont ask me why he did it, but thought Id just report it.

He was playing scout though...

Heh, one of my favourite things I did with this guy was make Wild Soul's bear attack himself so he got entangled for our gank.

Sure I could have just CC'd wild soul instead of his bear but this had so much more class!

That is unworldy awesome :D I'll have to keep that one in mind! Especially if they revert the creep-skills timer so that it lasts extra long on booboo like wirlwinds/polymorphs do :D
